We’re seriously cottagecore, y’all

Poor old Uncle B. All Winter long, he carries bags of logs and buckets of coal into the house, then buckets of ash out. All Summer long, it’s endless watering of pots and flower beds. And some years – like this year – the two seasons overlap.

They’re claiming this is the seventh hottest May on record. How they’re standing up that lie, I do not know. We’ve only not had a fire at night maybe twice since September.

Some day, I suspect, he will haunt this place – a weary shade carrying heavy stuff around and around the grounds.

We’re having forest fires here in Eastern Canada…have smoke warnings on the weather page. Forests seem to be spontaneously combusting all over Canada:

NASA provides an awesome massage service. After NASA data massage(tm) temperatures are so hot they have their own Onlyfans sites.

Coupled with the satellite data from the 1800s we’ve been able to chart glacier melt, the hole over the pole, and arctic ice cover that proves New York City and most other major coastal cities around the world, were completely submerged due to sea level rise by the year 2000!

Well your white flowers are lovely. I’ve always wanted a moon garden, and I’m a little closer to that goal. JavaMan and I are closer on what we want in the garden.

And here on the edge of the Caprock, it has been unseasonably cool. Plus we’ve had nearly 14 inches of rain in three weeks. Considering that our yearly rainfall (if we are blessed) is about 19 inches, you can imagine our shock. The firemen and farmers are dancing in the streets.

I has been unseasonably cool so far this May/June here in SE VA, USA. It’s 58 right now at 8PM when it’s usually in the 70s/80s and oppressively humid by this time of year.

Beware: more than one link in a comment is apt to earn you a trip to the spam filter, where you will remain -- cold, frightened and alone -- until I remember to clean the trap. But, hey, without Akismet, we'd be up to our asses in...well, ass porn, mostly.
