Bad at math

Chris Christie, ladies and gentlemen. Because he’s really, really fat. I know, I know…I’m geeenius.

Seriously, this guy pissed me off with his wanton libertarian bashing. It’s not because there’s tension enough with the libertarians in the GOP (though there is). And it’s not because I’m closer to the libertarian view than any other (though I am). It pisses me of because it was so dumb.

To win the White House, you need all your own party behind you, and about four percent more of those confused voters milling about in the middle than the other guy. Starting out a candidacy by deliberately insulting a big part of your own base is self-destructively stupid.

It also signals he’s hoping to be this election’s “fuck you, wingnuts” candidate. You know, the one who sucks up to the big donors, alienates the base, wins the nomination ugly and then tries to turn us all out on election day by a combination of fear mongering and ridicule.

Oh, I am so very tired of that strategy. It’s been the default GOP game plan since ’92. Can we play another game now?

I’ve already decided not to vote for another ‘lesser evil’ Republican. They’d better straighten up and fly right in 2016 if they want my vote. We’re past the point where slowing down the growth of government matters. If we can’t get a limited government Republican on the ballot, I’m all for DOOM now vs. dragging it out.

No, we NOT play a different game. This is John McCain 2 or, “The name changes but the song remains the same”. The press will make him think he is the second coming of the great Bull Moose Centrist, Teddy Roosevelt. They will adore him till he wins the nomination. He will think the press are his friends … and The Stories © will start bubbling out. I suspect his will be of Romanesque Orgies with naked girls, grapes and mashed potato bathes.

The press will blame these unappetising stories for his lack of support among conservatives. Remember, they tried the old affair story on McCain but since it was obvious he couldn’t even find his dick, no one would believe it. Rumors of Roman orgies involving food, people will believe about Chris. However conservatives were voting for him anyhow

Some Veg. you are dead bang on. The fool does not realize that his good friend Barak talked Booker into not running for Gov. and destroying him just so he could ruin a strong conservative field in 2016.

It’s way too early in the cycle for me to burn the candidate-outrage candles. Instead, I shall return to watching the next of 14 episodes of Sharpe (Sean Bean!), which I recently discovered is newly available on Youtube – Free!

The U.S. is going to have to do to the Republicans what Canadians did to the Conservatives; complete and utter destruction of the party and loss of official party status…that taught them a lesson they badly needed to learn…we don’t have any more Red Tories or “Progressive Conservatives” and they don’t screw around with us anymore…true, the Libs had a clear field for a decade and we’re still paying for that, but no worse than the Obama Admin with a useless Republican party in Opposition.

Starting out a candidacy by deliberately insulting a big part of your own base is self-destructively stupid.

It depends on what your goal is. Right now, the Institutional Republicans are not fighting Obama and the Democrats at all. All their efforts are concentrated on attacking the base. That is who they consider to be the enemy. And to be honest, the feeling is mutual at this point. The Republicans will consider the 2016 campaign [if it happens] a win if they drive conservatives out of the party. Even if it means President H. Clinton or even a third term for Obama, and the loss of the House in 2014.

The recent revelation that RNC staffers are helping Holder set up to put Texas and other southern states back under DOJ supervision after the Supreme Court freed them shows this.

The refusal to go to court to overturn Obama’s unconstitutional assumption of the authority to block those laws he does not like, when the Supreme Court already ruled that assumption unconstitutional in Clinton v. City of New York, 524 U.S. 417 (1998) reinforces it. All they have to do is file the case.

The Institutionals’ assistance to the Democrats in granting eternal amnesty to all illegal aliens and erase our borders is another attack on the base confirms it.

Christie is doing his masters’ bidding.

Meh, doesn’t matter. The candidate with the D wins whoever the Republicans run, now. You know those city and state-wide political machines in places like New York City and Chicago? They managed to set one up nationwide. Doesn’t even matter who runs, its all just a show.

I don’t know, the only thing that’s running through my mind is the lyrics from that Little Feat Song.

“… there’s a fat man in the bathtub, with the blues…”

And their version of Willin’

“… smuggled some folks from Mexico…”

I suppose it’s near the end when all you can think about political events is song lyrics.

Pleased to meet you…

Once again–I can’t say it enough these days. I am an AMERICAN Independent CONSERVATIVE, as opposed to a British Conservative, which has a whiff of Illuminati. By God’s Help, we got/get it Right more times than Anyone Else. History proves that.

One of the MOST BASIC fundamental HUMAN RIGHTS is the Right To be Left Alone.

Why would we want to clean out the stables if we’re just going to fill it again with vicious vampire cannibal animals? I say we tear down the stable and sell the land to the highest bidder, preferably someone who will put up something popular and useful, such as a combination cocktail lounge and gun store/shooting range.

If you want to take a great deal from this post then you have to apply such strategies to your
won weblog.

Write a comment

(as if I cared)

(yeah. I'm going to write)

(oooo! you have a website?)

Beware: more than one link in a comment is apt to earn you a trip to the spam filter, where you will remain -- cold, frightened and alone -- until I remember to clean the trap. But, hey, without Akismet, we'd be up to our asses in...well, ass porn, mostly.
