Ugh. This day.

I don’t post an essay on September 11 any more. I’m as heartsick and angry as I was on this day twelve years ago, but I’ve already said everything I have to say about it.

This is just a bad topic for my silly blog, but I can’t ignore it, either. So, a non-post post.

Talk about whatever you like in the comments. If you want cheering up, poke this.

Apparently there was a gathering of jackass truthers at the same time, all dozen and a half of them.

The picture looked to me like there were more people on the stage than in the crowd. And not many of either.

I think “dozens” might be pushing it.

Cornball West (D – 911 Truthland) was the headliner.

Says it all, really.

And here in Beantown, where 3 of the 4 planes originated and the marathon was bombed a few months ago, Logan airport decided to run an emergency drill, complete with smoke. Panicked the city, blocked off roadways. I’m going to say it out loud here…What. The. Fuck?! How fucking brain dead are you that you don’t get what this day is and that We. Never. Forget.

I guess I get to be the douche here 🙁

Twelve years, not thirteen.

That said – and steeling myself for the rotten eggs and vegetables to be thrown at me – Did our illustrious leader say anything pertinent about the anniversary? Or was his comment so unbelievably small that we all missed it?

Those thousands of bikers riding to DC was pretty cool…they should take over…

It’s pretty impossible to not still feel as heartsick and angry today as twelve years ago, because the country hasn’t done anything to avenge it. Iraq? Afghanistan? Please. Iran and Saudi Arabia are the guilty parties here, and they should have been turned into smoking holes immediately. There can’t be any psychological healing when justice hasn’t been done. That’s becoming our MO as a country: lying down and wetting ourselves. Dear Leader didn’t say a word about the other 9/11 debacle that won’t be avenged, either: Benghazi. Just more proof for the Islamists that the pussification of America is complete.

To give the folks that _didn’t_ attend the ‘Million Muslim March’ some (unbelievably small) credit – if I knew there were 2 million bikers bearing down on me, I think non-attendance would be the smart decision.

25 muslims vs thousands of bikers. The democrats will scream about ‘protest suppression’ next.

When can we get our own country? You know, one that is sane?

Iran and Saudi Arabia are the guilty parties here, and they should have been turned into smoking holes immediately.

In principle, I agree, however (leaving Iran as a smoking hole, as is proper), removing Saudi Arabia creates a huge power vacuum in the Middle East. The Sauds have to balance on a knife edge, keeping their own (viciously muslim) rabble in check while still bringing in foreign cash, and keeping their more violent neighbours from fucking everything up. They simply want to remain fat & rich and we’re far better off (much like with Assad) with them in power but entirely beholden to us.

Thankfully, our president isn’t stupid enough to think that turning the ME dictatorships into democracies would work out for anybody but the terrorists.
