Y’all get out there and make me proud

Makes me nervous, all this chest-thumping and taking of victory laps. Particularly when the legacy media starts saying how well the GOP is gonna do. They aren’t our friends; they must be up to something. I’m worried that anything less than an absolute history blowout for the right will be spun as a kinda sorta defeat.

It ain’t over until all the fraudulent ballots are counted.

So please get out an vote today. Unless you’re a lurky leftie, in which case…dude, it’s an awful lot of trouble and you guys are just going to lose anyway.

Heavy rain is expected today in San Antonio. It will be interesting to see how the media blame the rain for Democrats losing.

Prior to global warming it never rained in San Antonio, so it’s obviously Rehuglikkan racism trying to keep Wendy Davis* & her flying monkeys away from the polls.

As much as I hope for Republican control of the Senate, I foresee some bad times ahead. Obama is really into this ‘Executive Order’ thing, and I don’t know what the mechanism exists to stop it. The courts should be the answer, but they hate to get in the middle of squabbles between the Executive and the Legislative branches, and anyhow, they are very slow to act at the best of times.

That pretty much leaves only the option of impeachment and that is a risky, ugly business. I suspect that Obama is going to push the envelope and then dare the Congress to act. Impeachment may succeed but the political cost to Republicans is likely to be frightful. Recall that 45 percent of the population already don’t like the Republicans, and that impeaching ‘the brother’ no matter how justified, is going to bring out the Black vote in the next presidential elections. You may have wondered about the lack of potential Republican candidates for 2016… I believe that this coming fight may be why. Impeaching Obama may just get us Hillary.

Interesting times, interesting times.

I concur, I could easily see this go the way of 2012 when pundits were almost all saying things like “the Republicans could take the Senate!” Yeah, that worked out real well huh?

All I know is, ‘I’ voted. Proud to do so. Might be the last time I get to, if present trends don’t change. Still and all, I couldn’t help a swell of pride as I walked away from the polling place- my 2p, small as it is, got heard.

My family already voted [under the new mail-in ballot system, although we dropped off ours directly at the County Clerk’s office]; but there is absolutely no confidence that the vote results announced will have any relationship to legal votes cast. In the Democrat stronghold of the Peoples’ Republic of Boulder County, CO; the Republicans are in court because they have decided that Democrats can be poll watchers for both parties, and a judge has backed up the Democrats. In the last election, several counties had more votes than men, women, children, and household pets according to the 2010 census. In Metro Denver, James O’Keefe of Breitbart caught Democrats voting stolen mail-in ballots a few days ago.

Wherever Democrats run the election machines nationwide, it seems that they are “miscalibrated” so that votes for Republicans are counted for Democrats. Connecticut, where literal civil war may break out over a Democrat law ordering gun registration AND confiscation; in Hartford for some reason they did not get the registration books to the precincts for two hours after polls opened. Some precincts turned away voters, and some allowed people to vote with no cross checking of registration. I would bet that the closed precincts are Republican, and the uncontrolled voting is in Democrat precincts. The Democrat governor has refused a request to order the polls to stay open two hours late to let those turned away to vote.

I’m pretty sure that the number of elections stolen will be a new record and may be enough to give the Democrats the victory. If the Republicans do win, there is still the possibility that the Democrat Senate will refuse to seat the new Republicans and change the balance of power.

After all, they are stealing elections openly now, so why should they accept their results if they go against them?

Who would object? And how?

While I admit to currently being in the middle of Samuel Pepy’s Diaries [full version] where who was allowed to be elected and sit in Parliament came close to changing the Restoration into a Second English Civil War; we in America now have to deal with the kinds of questions that arise when there is no rule of law or Constitution.

Hi, Weasie. Re the Dead Pool comment on Brittany Maynard’s passing, this is who she is:

Brittany Maynard is dead, but that is hardly a surprise. I would like to ask for a Rule Zero ruling:

0. Rule Zero (AKA Steve’s Rule): your pick has to be living when picked. Also, nobody whose execution date is circled on the calendar. Also, please don’t kill anybody.

Self-execution is still execution, and a delay in an execution date doesn’t change the fact that it was scheduled.

Of course, I am willing to admit that the ‘Johnathan Edwards Freedom Of The Will’ argument can be made here.

Heh. Watching the Wendy Davis campaign has been like watching an Iranian Military Parade. Looks impressive until you realize that everything is made from paper mache, and the pictures are all photoshopped….

Regarding Brittany Maynard, I was trying to squeeze in on a technicality when she waffled on the date, making it no longer “circled on the calendar.” She ended up offing herself on the official date after all, so I am willing to concede that she is DQ’d. Gonna hafta earn that dick some other way.

I wonder what animal can be used best to portray The Lightbringer…it should probably fall into the category of invasive species.

We have early voting in NV…but I have zero expectations that anything positive will happen.

Her Stoatliness having retired early, on account of some historical documents she has to sift through tomorrow (something to do with runny babbits, no doubt), I have been working into the small hours, as usual, pausing now and again to lend a withered ear to the BBC’s World Service.

Via which I find excited coverage of the elections taking place in the Good Ol’…

Now, can someone plase explain to me a new use of the word ‘moderate’ that seems to have been adopted by the Democrats to apply to anyone who votes for them? And just who is barking mad enough to let them get away with this latest bastardisation of the English language?

Moderate = someone who votes for cultural Marxism

Raving Nazi maniac = everyone else.

Is that how it works?

I literally voted NO on everything. Every judge was appointed by Jerry Brown or some other Democrat, every initiative was a waste of money. Didn’t vote for a single incumbent. Feel the POWER of this fully operational Curmudgeon!

It was an election about nothing.
Borders will not be enforced.
ObangaCare will be tweaked and improved.
Iran will be attacked.
Fed will continue to protect us against inflation.
Fags will attempt to breed on prime time TV.
Our most specialest democratic ally and friend will be propped up at any cost.

But, on the bright side, there will be a wonderful spirited debate about estate taxation.
Take those “elections” and shove them.

Well looks like the cultural shift was against Dems this time. Seems like the Obama lovers only really like him personally and not his policies or ideas, cause they don’t turn out when he’s not on the ticket.

Uncle B:

You have got it. With the help of our State Controlled Media, such memes are created and destroyed at the whim of the DNC. Studying the evolution of the phraseology used in the various purges in the Chinese Communist Party from 1949-1980 would be instructive applied to US politics. It is at the point where I have to read British papers [allowing for your Tories being to the Left of our Democrats in policy if not manners] to find out what our Media makes go down the memory hole.

In my state, the margin of fraud I noted yesterday was sufficient to keep the Democrat Governor Hickenlooper in power. This means that the gun confiscation laws will not be repealed [because of his veto power] and it may well be on like in Connecticut. Further, it means that the attacks on our Taxpayers Bill of Rights will continue unabated.

Former Senator Mark “Uterus” [D-Planned Parenthood] pissed off so many people that he put himself well outside the margin of fraud.

The Forces of Good won in Wisconsin, at least. Scott Walker is still Chief Badger. Mary Burke had promised that if she was elected, she would undo everything Walker had done, and would give the state employee unions the ability to force employees to join he unions. Perhaps we are seeing the start of the awakening of the American Voter.

It was an election about nothing… Iran will be attacked.

Possibly. But by the U.S.? If only.

The prediction that scares me is that Obama will cap off his glorious reign by a big public reconciliation with (surrender to) Iran, along the lines of Nixon in China (justified by common opposition to Sunni jihadists such as ISIS).
