Well done, everyone!

Did he ever have that stupid press conference this afternoon, or what?

Yes, Barry had the presser, but in typical Obama-fashion he blames his failure to lead his party to their well deserved, nirvanic victory NOT on himself (and reactions to his policies), but at the feet of the rubes and hicks that voted against him, and especially those who didn’t vote at all.

The guy’s a broken record of old whine.

Well, in fairness, only rubes & hicks would be stupid enough to vote against our science-riffic overlords. I guess he just needs to hole up in a bunker with his wife & dog & wait for the allies to surrender.

Of course he did! He’ll never pass an opportunity to point his mighty finger and loudly proclaim it is certainly not his fault! There’s always someone else to blame, always.

As I expected, Obama intends to continue his Imperial Presidency. He will push to do many things by Executive Order, figuring that, since he is not running for re-election, he is unstoppable. He will also simply veto everything that comes across his desk. It will be a “Game of Chicken” daring the Republicans to impeach him. The fear for the Republicans is that this will turn out the Black Vote for revenge in 2016, guaranteeing a Democratic win.

The one Wild Card that I can see coming into play is the fact tha while Obama doesn’t have to run again, there is a Congress FULL of Democrats who do have to run again…. And supporting this guy has not served them well. What, exactly does voting in lock step for him gain them now? He didn’t release his campaign money to help with their elections, and public appearances with him are near-death experiences. Perhaps we might see a piece of legislation come up that will pressure enough Dems to vote along with the Republicans that his veto is over-ridden. Unlikely, but just maybe? And surely the must be at least a few who don’t think this Executive Order bypass of Congress is a good thing. Surely? Please God? Bueller? Anybody?

Obama believes his executive orders and veto powers are sacrosanct. I think enough Democrats would vote with Republicans to pass legislation to nullify executive orders, or vote to over-ride Obama vetos. Convoluted? Oh yes. But doable. Most Democrats want to get re-elected and this election proved that standing with Obama is political suicide.

Mrs. Skridlow has been positively giddy since watching the returns until quite late last evening. Hard right, that one. When we went to vote, she declined the straight ticket option as she was savoring every “R” punch of the voting machine. Fine smart women we have here in Texas . . .

…and all those people who voted for republicans are vastly, that’s VASTLY outnumbered by the people who didn’t vote. So it doesn’t count because Obama is president of all the peoples.

Anyone who expected O’Bama to learn anything from this election just doesn’t understand O’Bama. He makes Captain Queeg look like a poster child for self-actualization.

“…and all those people who voted for republicans are vastly, that’s VASTLY outnumbered by the people who didn’t vote. So it doesn’t count because Obama is president of all the peoples.”

Given that the number of people who didn’t vote for Obama VASTLY outnumber those who did, I would suggest that he is, in fact, president “of all the people” only rhetorically.

“Wipe that stupid grin off your face, GOP. Sucking marginally less than Democrats is nothing to celebrate.”

Unless the Rs show some conservative initiative and balls, not a lotta hope. BUT it’s a lot of the little things that may fall into place in the coming months that make me reasonably satisfied with the election. More power to lean on Benghazi hearings to make Hillary more irrelevant than she’s becoming. The same for the IRS (Lerner + Co.) and the DOJ (Holder + Co.). I believe the EPA is in for a whuppin’. Keystone will be thrown on Obama’s desk and they’ll (R+Ds) dare him to veto it. This from the UN also lifted my spirits…

Count me in among those without a democrat bone in their body who see nothing major to celebrate.
GOP will screw the temporary gains big time in no time. That is an assurance I feel safe to give.

That being said, two things amused me mildly:
a) the reactions of commies to the dramatic underperformance of their magical pigmentated Afromarxist with fondness for chemical enhancements and male secretions,
b) the wonderfully swift volte-face of The Tribe. If you play the long game, you are Never Unprepared!

As a ‘Murkan I am more interested in UKIP’s adventures in Ye Oulde England than I care for GOP stateside.

You Britishers are simply in way, way tougher spot by dint of numbers alone. Well that and inaccessibility to Freedom Hardware.

Bonne chance anyway, Britishers!

Right on, Duque. I’m consistently amused and embrightened by Mr. Farage.
