No. More. TEDDYBEARS.

bear

Within 24 hours, the people of Paris had jammed the blood donation centers and within 48, Hollande launched massive bombing attacks on IS targets. Give them their due; that was just right.

But, holy shit, when I saw the soft toys and the candlelight vigils roll out (especially across the US) before the bodies were even cold, I wanted to punch something. And don’t get me started on social media.

I understand people want to do something, and there ain’t much you can do from thousands of miles away. But that display of mawkishness, the déjà vu of useless gestures…honest to god, if the first thing you felt after the attack on Paris was sadness and not blazing anger, we’ve got a problem.

Western governments of the day are sharing the focus of my anger with the jihadis, because THEY ARE JUST LETTING THIS SHIT HAPPEN. Any fool could forecast this slaughter happening- and in fact, many ‘fools’ did. Western fear of being called bigots is pathological and easily exploited.

Who are the suiciders, now?? I can’t tell.

I agree 100% with lauraw…before we can deal with ISIS, we have to deal with our own governments and the ridiculous financial system that will implode if it stops growing, which is the entire reason the elites want to flood these immigrants into our countries in the first place: more debt slaves, more consumers, etc.

They are facilitating it! As Steyn said, the barbarians are not at the gates, they’re inside.

They’ve been given keys to the city.

Well you can do something about it. You can start burning down mosques, and dragging Muslims out in the street and beating them to death, and loading them on trucks to be taken off for execution. If you want that to happen, carry on with the fucking teddy bears.

@David Gillies – Yes, indeed, that’s a good start.

And if people simply must make piles of stuffed animals, I suggest fuzzy beheaded prophet Mo dolls buggering fuzzy little pig dolls.

For years popular culture has spread the lie that Peace, Love, Togetherness and Teddy Bears trump all the evil things that men do. If we all hold hands around the Christmas Tree like the citizens of Whoville, singing carols and swaying together, we can re-start the Grinch’s heart and make it all better.

“Violence never solves anything” is one of the biggest lies ever told. The ability to make judicious use of force in defense of yourself, your loved ones and your social group is a primary sign of maturity, adulthood and independence. That’s why governments and socialists want to breed it out of the race.

I’m sure the average denizen of Ms. Stoaty’s Little Blog of Iniquity here understands that very well, but we’re not very representative of society at large.

Unf*ckingbelievable.

“What I’m not interested in doing is posing or pursuing some notion of American leadership or America winning or whatever other slogans they come up with that has no relationship to what is actually going to work to protect the American people and to protect the people in the region who are getting killed and to protect our allies and people like France,” Obama said. “I’m too busy for that.”

Yeah, too busy surrendering.

The way I like to think of it is to imagine what it would be like today if, instead of being peaceful, civilised, harmless people, Jews in 1930 had been roaming around Europe bombing trains and shooting up nightclubs and demanding everyone bow down to their faith. I rather imagine we’d look at the Holocaust and say, “well, it was a bit over the top, but it was hardly surprising given the circumstances.” If Muslims want to avoid the same fate, and we want them to avoid it, then the touchy-feely bullshit has got to go and we need to start killing the x% of Jihadists with the assistance or at least grudging acquiescence of the (100-x)% of the rest.

The longer they keep using the teddy bear strategy, the more violent the reckoning is going to be, for sure.

A couple of points that the Touchy-Feelies tend to forget:

There is no one to negotiate with. This is an ideological movement, much like the Anarchist Movement that killed 11 World Leaders in the years before World War One. There is no one in the Islamic who can successfully call off the independent operators. The movement will continue until it is crushed or exhausted. With the Anarchist Movement, it took WWI to exhaust it…it was never sucessfully crushed.

Even if there were actually a central figure with whom to negotiate, the logic patterns and goals are totally alien to our way of thinking. I first learned this watching Jimmy Carter try to negotiate calmly and rationally with the Iranians. I learned a valuable life-lesson from that:

Never assume that your opponent will not do something because You would never do such a thing. Never assume that you think you know what your opponent wants, and that anything you observe is posturing. Goals that are totally irrational and even perhaps counter-productive from your point of view may be what are actually sought.

As for Hashtag movements and Teddy Bear Prayers… They are simply magical thinking. 2,000 years ago those Teddy Bears would have been sheep sacrificed to the God-Of-The-Week in hopes of placating him/her/it.

In late 1942, Admiral Halsey had large billboards put up above Sealark Harbor at Tulagi. They read KILL JAPS! KILL JAPS! KILL MORE JAPS! THE ONLY WAY HOME IS TO KILL MORE JAPS!

I believe, with only one word repeated four times being changed, that it is time to reinstate the Halsey Doctrine.

We also need to start prosecuting these ‘peaceful 90%’ of Muslims that look the other way and don’t say anything when they know about the radicals in their midst. They are helping to get people killed. It is the same as being a co-conspirator and should be prosecuted as such.

I agree 100% with lauraw :+)

The ‘moderates’ just provide cover for the jihadis…most of them agree with what they’re doing. If the ‘moderates’ were worth a crap, they’d be building their own countries instead of coming to ours and dumping the responsibiliy of policing their crazies on us.

Again though, our own governments and their ulterior motives for letting them all in here is our biggest problem.

I keep thinking about 1986, when Reagan needed to to bomb the crap out of Libya, and France—our allies—refused to let American bombers flying out of England, fly over French airspace to reach Libya. Thirty fracking years and the French never learn.

Just in case the US media “accidentally” fail to report this (in other words, just as as the BBC has done). Last night there was a football match between Greece and Turkey. During the minute’s silence for the victims of the attack on Paris, the Turkish fans booed and many chanted ‘allahu akbar’.

It’s always worth knowing what your ‘allies’ are actually worth…
