The place my stuffed critters came from was http: //www.morbidtendencies.com. Stupid filter here at work won't let me go there due to "violence, gruesome images."

I don't remember gruesome images unless you consider altered stuffed animals gruesome... but I may be misremembering.

I keep a basket of squishy stress relief thingys in my office of all shapes, sizes and colors. I loves me some stress relief squeezies. Anyway, one of them was given to me by an ex-boyfriend who was a university professor. It's a squishy brain from the Harvard Brain Tissue Resource Center. No fangs though. You could put one through a finger, I suppose.

Having a squishy brain stress relief thingy begs a buncho questions. Why would a brain tissue resource center want to advertise by giving out squishy brains - or anything for that matter?

Speaking of bunnies (someone is, somewhere), I see some unusual stuff on my morning rounds. Coyotes, possums, rackety coons, people screwing in the street, etc. This morning it was bunnies. Not your usual wild hare, the gray ones, but a whole herd of fluffy white bunnies, grazing on some rich dude's lawn.

Here in the tropics, it's not unusual for mushrooms to spring up overnight, and some of them get pretty big, and at first that's what I thought I was seeing. Big white things. But these were moving. I had to back up and put the headlights on them to be sure. Bunnies, sure enough.

Early Easter bunnies maybe?

I think it's beautiful. Ain't it odd how similar brains, intestines and a big pile of sausage links look? And since brains remind me of sausage and sausage reminds me of beer, see; beautiful

I've probably told this story before, but the closest I ever saw my sweet little old gray-haired mother come to pissing herself in public...we were in a pawn shop in Lebanon, Tennessee and we suddenly realized the mounted deer head on the wall behind the counter had been given snarly bobcat teeth. Laugh? Hoo!

Man, I wanted that thing. Not for sale :(

I think it's awesome, Weasel. :)

But then again, I'm the woman whose husband got her a subscription to a website that would make stuffed animals into... things... and send them to you. My favorite is a bunny rabbit with a fangy critter skull for a face, kind of like a skull in a bunny hood. I wish I could remember the name of the website. They came very cleverly packaged with adoption notes and such.

It's not so much that I think you'll be interested in my working method. It's more that I want you to know what goes on in my head ALL THE TIME.

<img src="http://sweasel.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/nightmare.jpg" alt="how to build a nightmare" width="400" height="384" hspace="60" />

So perhaps I can be forgiven for hitting the sauce every night, y'know?
