Happy T’day!

turkeyanim

Happy Thanksgiving! Also the ninth anniversary of my permanent move to the UK. (The actual date was the 22nd, I think, but it was Thanksgiving 2008).

Hope you all have a good’un and make complete pigs of yourselves, and don’t forget the MST3K Turkey Day Day Marathon!

Not to mention tomorrow’s new Dead Pool, queued up and ready to go!

Happy Thanksgiving, my friends! May all your turkeys be moist, nicely browned, and full of stuffing goodness…and not sitting across from you at the table wanting to talk about their latest trip to the doctor and who’s in today’s obituaries. (That’s a real-world danger here on the Gulf Coast of Florida, a/k/a God’s Waiting Room.)

So, unlike the donks, when you said you were leaving the country, you meant it.

Happy Thanksgiving rebel colonials!

Remember… tea isn’t at its best made with sea water.

Turkey cooking… MST3K burbling away in the background…

The turkey was delicious, and we shared it with one of our British cousins…well, my daughter’s husband. He liked it quite a bit. So did I and I haven’t even had pie yet!

A belated Happy Thanksgiving to Stoaty, Uncle Badger, and all their fine commenters! Miss Linda and I played it smart, as we so rarely do, and went out to a restaurant (the Red Fish Grill on Bourbon St., if it matters) for their T’giving buffet. Prime rib, turkey, grilled redfish, oysters, blue crab salad, and more, for a set price . . . and I didn’t have to pay to park! Wheee!
