There is nothing like a dame

I finally got to go to the pantomime. British panto, where the hero is always played by a girl, the dame is always a man, and it just gets sillier from there. I’ve been meaning to drag Uncle B to one ever since I moved here, but never got the timing right.

It was indeed very silly and lots of fun and now it feels extra super Christmassy! Have a good weekend, y’all. I’ll probably continue shitposting until Christmas, because why not?

I’m working this weekend, the husband is not. I was just off for the last 5 days…granted, I was sick as a dog and tho I made it to work today, I struggled to make it thru the day. I have 2 more days ahead of me. Hubby is off today and the next 4. We can’t manage to get our days off synced…until next month. Then we shall have 3 glorious weeks off together, soaking up sun in FL. Knowing our luck, one of us will be sick most of the time. Such is our life. But it’s Christmas! Merry Christmas one and all!

We’re headed for Austin after spending the day cooking for dogs and dog watching sons who ought to be able to cook for themselves….
Like they’re going to eat, it’ll be 24×4 wearing vr headsets and saving apocalypse Boston in Fallout.

We’ll come back to find the cat wearing a Chihuahua pelt.
