Reduce the incidence of the…what now?
Onkle B spotted this sign on a collecting box in Waitrose today. It seems a bit mean-spirited to make fun of a charity — and a brain injury charity, at that — but honestly. Proofreading, people!
On the other hand, as strategies go…it’s a bit drastic, but it would work.

There are far too many people around who behave socially and politically as though they have brain injuries, and for those people I’m all in favor of them engaging in activities that would reduce the incidence of the brain. Perhaps then they would behave as do the mythical turkeys: when it rains and drops hit their heads they look up, beaks agape, to see what hit them, and they drown.

A Nigerian Prince Scam. Seriously. Anyone can put out a collection box and few store owners will say no. Little work and 100% profit. Let the donor beware.

I was originally going to suggest one avoid reading the news to avoid or reduce the chance of brain injury, and then upon re-reading realized they actually want you to reduce incidence of the brain. 😛
Based on that first sentence, mission accomplished!
Be sure and leave whatever Jack brings in to help feed you as a contribution to the box, because Some Vegetable (not just ANY vegetable) is probably correct.
It’s that, or your fine English schools are turning out pupils nearly as literate as those turned out by our fine American schools.
Better the Nigerian Prince scam really, the other predicts we’re collectively headed to becoming Nigerian royalty.
