“Social Media” is making society ill. The internet is not the Great Good we thought it was – its invention may very well be a Civilizational Ending Event.

It’s like cell phones with people on the damn thing all day long, wandering across the parking lots and up and down the aisles in stores, talking about nothing.

People who can’t be alone and need minute by minute validation.

Think of it all like a herd of sheep (it is). They want to be in a group, where they cam bleat meaninglessly for constant reassurance. Afraid of everything and reinforcing the idea “someone” is protecting them every minute of the day.

And like sheep, they don’t understand their purpose in life is to be sheared and or eaten.

But talking TV shows, the last installment of Vikings, the tale of Ragnar Lothbrok is over.
The English should have developed horse archers.

I’m just spitballing here, but methinks we need to return to talkin’ about normal stuff we enjoy, chickens, cats, and the spectacular oddities Stoaty finds cos all the pages are being swept and trigger words noted.

I think it’s a sure bet that many of our favorite bloggers will be de-platformed in the coming weeks or months. Hosting services can’t withstand the blunt force of the govt. I know it’s frustrating and feels like surrender, but we need non-political sanctuaries to preserve our sanity.

You know how a toddler turns into an unwieldy boneless mass when you try to pick them up mid-tantrum at the grocery store? That’s what we must do. They will cut down the tall poppies, let’s not give them targets.
