Happy Good Friday!

I got nothing today, so have a snapshot of the boys. This was Tuesday, though. Today it was horrible and gray.

Good weekend, everyone!

We’re going to have an exceptional spring weather weekend and then it will rain all next week.

Can’t wait.

Played a round of miniature golf with the hubby and friends on this sunny and 70 degree day in South Florida. I won!

kitteh time!
Y’alls pictures are great!
All we ever seem to manage are ‘sleeping’ shots, and there’s only so much cute to be had in those.

Pet photos are always enjoyable. I especially like how both of your cats have distinctive tails 🙂

I’ve been pet shopping lately. Mostly for a dog, but I always stop to look at the orange cats—per the previous discussion here about the rarity of female marmalades. I’ve seen (online) at least two dozen orange cats, and they were all males.

We’ve turned the corner to full-on Spring…the weather is glorious at the moment. The only downside is the danged oak pollen…but that too shall pass.

Have a nice Easter, and if you are of mind music from Kings.

Thanks for the info on the Flower ID phone app.
Spent a happy couple hours wandering the property in East Texas snapping photos of the wild flowers and plants.

Beautiful field of Prairie Groundsel and an odd discovery of a patch of White (Moon) Petunia growing wild in a place they ought not to be.

This is much better than calling everything, “those little yellow flowers down in the lower field” and “those little white daffodil looking flowers down by the boxcar”. Oh, uh we have a 1940’s era 40 foot Kansas City Southern boxcar nestled in a small copse of trees but the app couldn’t identify it – heh.

Now we’ll see if we get enough Sawtooth Blackberry and DewBerry to make some jam!

The plant ID thing feels very Star Trek.

You might run a test on it though, I IDed one plant as a couple different things (all edible, but weeds).

On the flip side it has been correct about every other plant I used it on. Does better if there’s a bloom to photograph. But given so many dandelion type weeds have similar leaves I guess it can’t be helped it will miss now and again.
