Oh, Your Majesty!
This is a postage stamp, y’all. From the Royal Mail, y’all (see Her Maj in the corner?). It’s part of a whole series of vomitously illustrated commemorative stamps for Pride Month.
Reminds me of my favorite tweet of all time:

It’s a shame. The previous commemoratives stamps were adorable kitties.

I hope the fact that these stamps are available Starting July 1 (accd to the web site) doesn’t mean Pride month is going for another 30 days. Maybe it’s now Pride Quarter. I was all out of f**ks to give 29 days ago…

The above is the phonetics of an appropriate Chinese phrase.
Granting that our country, and your former country, are not exactly in the best of shape and we are heading downhill too; but I am pretty sure that parts of it are saner than that. Y’all and Uncle Badger could find a safe place here.

Looks like being gay means you most likely have dad/mom bod.
Dumpy and dressed funny.
3 out the 5 people pictured in the stamp.
Yes, yes, that’s certainly something to make one proud eh?!
Stand up and shout “I’m dumpy and I’m proud!”
Plus I thought gay now only applied to males, otherwise why do we have to endure the LGBTQWXYZZY lectures about all the sex preference classifications?

In a devious way, I can understand being proud of being a deviant compared to some group because I’m proud of deviating from a bunch of deviants.

I don’t want to be ‘that guy’ but I think that this stamp should be withdrawn because it displays and perhaps promotes unsafe behavior which should be (if it’s not already) illegal.
Beyond that, some of the people are very inappropriately dressed….
Those two on the motorcycle are not wearing helmets and their clothing offers them absolutely no protection should they become involved in a road accident.

It looks like we have a Deadpool winner. Will there be a new DP on Friday?

And then the stamps caught Monkey Pox.

I realize now, over coffee, that perhaps my comment above may easily be misconstrued. When I refer to “unsafe behavior which should be (if it’s not already) illegal.” I mean riding a motorcycle without a helmet.
I don’t give a damn about the implied sodomy. They can all go fuck themselves as often as they like.

The images are sooo 1970’s SF…except Bay Area gays take pride in a tight body. (no pun intended)
I too find that like Rimrock, I am all out of f**ks to give.

Funny you should mention that, Some Veg. When the UK legislation compelling motorcyclists to wear helmets was passed, Sikhs were given a very specific exemption due to their religious requirement to wear a turban.
My first thought when I saw that image was, ‘Oh. Lesbians too now, is it?’

@BJM – I don’t, and didn’t.
But you see we’re not allowed to not care. We will be made to care, and we will be made to think in the proper way while caring in the proper way.
As the stamps show, it’s not enough to be different without drawing attention by dressing up like a weirdo with a LOOK AT ME! sign tattooed on their foreheads.
The stamps imply you must be a visible readily identifiable weirdo to be ABCDEFG, and trying not to be exaggeratedly flamboyant and blatantly outside the general norm is somehow a betrayal to their sexuality.
If I was gay I would be offended by that stamp in the same way I’d be offended if they made stamps for dad bodied knuckle headed men/husbands in celebration of Father’s day.

So, in honor, or in mockery.
I’m going with door #2 Monty!
