I’ll try to remember to post a link when he resumes. He hasn’t done any in July; he’s on vacation. He also did an interview with Russel Brand that was supposed to be good, but Russel Brand makes my teeth itch so I haven’t watched it. I’ll find and post the link if desired.
You were allowed to explore hashtags without an account, if you could get past the login screen. Click a tweet to squeeze past and then click Explore in the upper left corner. I’m getting a 404 now, though, so it looks like he’s plugged that hole, too.

I’ve warmed up a bit to Mr Brand. His style is still a bit flamboyant for me, but on most major points I tend to agree with him, and he’s very open to hearing opinions other than his own. That’s rare enough now to make me grit my teeth when he goes all Mother Gaia worship.

We’ll see if competition with Montzucker’s Threadbare inspires Elon to free Twitter again.
And like Jon, I find myself quite surprised to move Mr Brand off my “utter looney list” in the last year or two.

I was a regular Reddit user until recently…they’re becoming a lot more scummy corporate these days so I’ve moved to Lemmy, which is part of the Fediverse. I made an account at lemmy.ca but I can post and subscribe to any community in the Fediverse…bit confusing but okay after you get the hang of it. I can spin up my own instance of Lemmy and interact with the other instances such as Mastodon and the rest.

One small correction if I may respectfully offer it. Ep 6 features Rick Levine. That’s most of the fun in this episode hearing Tucker gleefully ditching the “woman name” and pronouns of that weirdo. Oh how I laughed and laughed..

ps Just for info, the Fert is short for ferret. I selected the name after we inherited two (Loki and Cyric) from our daughter, Fertette (now a Chief Master Sergeant in the US Air Force). The ferrets have since gone to their rewards, but are still stuck in our hearts and minds.
