The sad thing is, I can’t even brag to my friends and family. I never liked my friends knowing my politics, or my family knowing how much I cuss, so they don’t know about my blog.

Huzzah!

Since we’re all going to the Salon page and looking at your work on our screens, I believe you can now advertise that your artwork has been prominently displayed in Salon’s Around the World!

Heh heh. Martin Mull went to my art school a few years before me. One of my teachers told me Mull set up an art exhibit in the Boston Museum in the men’s room, without permission. He didn’t get arrested and he got to claim he had an opening in the MFA.

Good on ya, Stoaty.
Disgusting leftist ink is better than no ink at all.
Saw/read somewhere the peeps were predicting that Salon will be out of business within a year.
Then you’ll become an historical figure!

It’s the big time for you now! Next stop the BAFTAs, where you’ll be contracted to make photo-shop DOOM for all the D-list stars, which will then be used on the the Daily Mail website. That is the one you hate with a fiery passion, isn’t it?

Martin Mull was funny. Ever see that movie of his, set in Mill Valley?

Yeah, I can’t remember the name either, so sue me. But he had a good album, titled “Sex and Violins”

Gor, but that’s awesome, Stoaty! I hope my part helped. I posted it on Free Republic almost immediately after you posted it. On my blog, and everywhere else I could think of. I’m still getting Facebook hits from whomever pulled it from my blog. And I’ll have you know, it’s the inaugural pic on my Tumblr!

There once was an artist called Weasel
who drew without aid of an easel
When she sketched up Paul Ryan
All the women were cryin’
Cause she gave him muscles like Van Diesel

* yeah it’s not great but the bar for poetry and lyrics has been pretty damn low lately, OK?

OUT.STAND.ING!! Even if it is that saggy, baggy Salon, and just their website at that.

Remember: All publicity is useful, even if from a sorta-negative source, so long as they give proper credit and spell your name at least more-or-less correctly.

Keep on keepin’ on…

Maybe it was Martin Mull’s men’s room art exhibition that I read about — it was called Up Against the Wall, or I’ll be Art in a Minute.

Ugh…need a shower after wading through that steaming pile of fetid Lefty BS.

Stoaty’s excellent work was the only original thought in the bunch and even then they had to trot out a hackneyed feminist caption.

The Left really doesn’t understand the appeal of a man like Paul Ryan…Bill Whittle ‘splains it here.

Hey any exposure is better than being tossed in a ditch and bitten by fire ants. Did they say where they saw your work (so you can have that leak ‘fixed’)?

And why didn’t you tell them you were born in Kenya?

Beware: more than one link in a comment is apt to earn you a trip to the spam filter, where you will remain -- cold, frightened and alone -- until I remember to clean the trap. But, hey, without Akismet, we'd be up to our asses in...well, ass porn, mostly.
