Is it just racist ol’ me?

jeb

Did anyone else notice the signs said Jeb! up front, where they were more likely to appear in print, and ¡Jeb! around the periphery? Is it just me? Am I paranoid?

See, I’m kind of iffy about Jeb from the get-go. His wife, Columba, is a tiny Mexican hobbit. By all accounts, she’s a very nice woman and he’s utterly devoted to her, but rumor has it she never took to English and they speak Spanish at home. He once, supposedly, ticked ‘Hispanic’ on his voter registration form.

I suppose I sound irredeemably racist, don’t I? But, look here, we’re talking about a man running for president. Is it too much to ask that our next leader doesn’t prefer somebody else’s culture over our own?

The worst thing for America is a Jeb against Hillary election, but that is what the press wants to give us, and so that is what we shall have. I weep for the Republic country.

Personally, I shall have no part in it. I shall stay home and not vote. I do not have the power or the will to prevent the coming conflagration. Let it burn. I cannot stop it and will not resist the will of the people, but I will not collaborate. With luck, I have another 25 years to live, and the flames will probably not have reached my home in that time.

Jeb’s the Rep. establishment choice, with the blessings of Boner and the Turtle. Not quite as blatant as Hillary’s quest for a Coronation, but getting there.

Barney is the lefty-loonie’s/occupybots warning to the Dem. side of the establishment party: “don’t forget about us, or we’ll show up again on your doorsteps, burning and looting our way to smelly socialist victory!”

I think our culture’s gone already.

And yeah, yeah, off my lawn.

Heh. Guess I’m the optimist here, since I plan to vote R whoever gets the nomination (Trump excepted, of course) based on the chance that slowing down the dissolution of our country could be enough to matter in my twilight years.

In the meantime, I am assiduously avoiding learning about any of the candidates, because that knowledge can’t help change anything, but it can stress me out. New Motto: A Low Info Voter is a Happy Voter.

The Hispanic punctuation is deliberate, and is deliberately on the periphery. For years his keynote issue has been Permanent Open Borders and Amnesty. That, and vocal hatred of Conservatives. He may backpedal, or even outright lie until he gets the nomination; but his true colors will come back out.

Consider:

Until he started his campaign, was on the board of the Bloomberg Foundation. Anti-Second Amendment.

Until he started his campaign, was on the board of the Tenet Corporation. They set up and run Obamacare exchanges. Pro-Obamacare.

Already vocally pro-Federal control of all education via Common Core.

As noted, characterizes the invasion of this country being met by Amnesty as an “act of love”.

Close family friends with the Clintons, and would be hard pressed to find a major issue where they are on record as differing.

And he is running as the candidate for a party that is fighting to give Obama an “Enabling Act” in the guise of a trade bill.

We are not going to be able to vote our way out of this, because there is no one at any level we can vote FOR. New rules are coming. Just be ready for them.

I might write in Donald Trump, as an improvement over what is being offered.

Look, ol’ ¡Heb!’s main problem is that last name. & the fact that he’s a dumbass, life-long, useless bag of politician crap. I’ll write in Pu-10 before I vote for that sack of shit, or the other one with the cankles, either.

It does seem curious that our two great countries always seem to have a choice between two totally useless bastards, doesn’t it?

Reading about your forthcoming election is like a trip back to British politics a year ago.

And look how that miserably turned out. Oh, look – another useless bastard in power.

Heb! I love it!!

Hey – if Bruce Jenner can be a woman, and the Caucasian NAACP gal in Spokane can be a Negro, surely Heb can be Hispanic!

The ’16 election is still a ways off, and look at the menagerie of candidates! It’s like choosing ranch dressing at the supermarket! I’m confident I’ll vote for the GOP candidate, because the alternative will be too horrible to ponder… but it may be while holding my nose with the other hand.

One GOOD thing about Mr. Trump… he doesn’t need to pander to the PC Police, so he makes some fairly unfiltered policy declarations. That MIGHT cause some of the other candidates to squirm and be forced to respond. Trump might liven things up.

Hillary lives by the 11th commandment – Thou Shalt Not Get Caught – and always has. A fundamentally untrustworthy person. And I’m sorry if that hurts your collective egos, ladies, but come on.

What was it, Wellsley? Vassar? One of those joints. They turn out a few of these female sharks a year. Hilly found her meal ticket and rode him as far as she could. The only time she objected to his womanizer ways was when he got caught. Now she’s using him to power her money machine. Same old, same old.

Gimme a break.

¡Vámonos con Heb! ¡Si podemos!

I would be quite happy with a Rubio or Walker nomination, but the crony class seems hell-bent on giving it to Heb, in which case he will lose to Hillary, their second choice for keeping the gravy train trundling along. It’s honestly enough to make you wish for several miles of rope and a shipping container’s worth of pitchforks.
