More. MOAR!
Oh, how I am enjoying social media this week. I’m pretty sure this much schadenfreude is bad for my spleen, or something. I have nothing insightful to add.
In honor of our new overlord, please enjoy this delightful scrap of futuristic pulp misogyny. The artist is Ed Emshwiller.
Please, continue to discuss the election in the comments. Your words, they are like delicious candy.

OK, Here’s one – Spawnareeno #1 is a HS Freshman. He said his first period teacher cried most of the period yesterday. His music teacher compared the election to 9/11 and went on for the whole period about the horrible consequences of the election. Later in the day the Principal (of a f’n High School!) came on the PA system with a special “We want you to know this is a SAFE space” announcement. I’m no Trumpalo, but I so want to send him back to that Principals office with a MAGA hat and ask if HE would be safe? But alas, he has to go to the school for another 3 years. He did tell me it was all he could do to not laugh at the histrionics, and just bit his lip and observed the show. What can I say – trying to raise him right.

An email this morning from an (otherwise) good friend who passed the Bar Exam:
It’s open season for racists
Because racism, bigotry, mysogyny, fear mongering, and intimidation are great American traditions — as long as there’s sufficient threat of violence behind them.
If we thought George W Bush curtailed our civil liberties … our constitutional democracy is about to be sorely tested under Donald J Trump’s divisive policies.
My two cents.
I can’t stop laughing… I just sent a reply that he might want to consider that people aren’t always as good or bad as the press represents them…and cited Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize as an example…. and then I reminded him that it’s also Obama’s NSA that started keeping copies of every email and phone call made.

On the news it seems that the Grand Progressive Army of Tolerance will brook no further deviance from their Path To Enlightenment and seeks to flood the cities with mindless rioters.

Getting a bit worried about the wave of moonbats wanting to move here to Canada…we already have more assholes than we can deal with…maybe we can put them to work in the mines >:)

Ace has a great post with a link to the Daily Mail, I think, with glorious pictures from Hill’s crowd showing the shock and horror on their faces when they realize what is going down.
He has a great comment, too. “It is delicious, like chocolate cake made with flour from the ground up bones of his enemies.”

Stoatie, the best post-election headline so far is from your adopted home: the Daily Mail of all things.
I’d like to buy that writer a pint or three.

Snippet from some veg’s post. “Constitutional democracy”, why do I keep hearing this phrase from the left, we have a constitutional republic. Huge difference.

We already have the defeat of both the Clinton and Bush political families and now mostly-peaceful, lefty, protesters rampaging around cities that probably mostly voted Clinton.
I can’t wait to see what’s next.
I hope it has monkeys.

I’m well beyond schadenfreude, I have fully-fledged schadenboner.
What’s even better is the realization that Obama has spent 8 years weaponizing the federal government against the American people, only to turn it all over to Trump.
That said, it was pretty dreary in our home most of election day, what with the news media’s pro-Hillary drumbeat about the exit polls. Then, about 5:30 PM Pacific, someone sent me a link showing the New York Times (spit) was forecasting a Trump blowout with 305 electoral votes. I did some checking around to confirm, and then the sun shone, the flowers bloomed and life was good.

Confirming A. G. Tiger‘s, et. al. input: Scott Jacobs (who made the very first selection, right at the start-buzzer – smooth, Scott, very smooth!) rings the doleful bell with Leonard Cohen, who is now composing and vocalizing for The Choir Eternal…
I even made a rather-minute check, just in case someone had actually selected the late/mostly-unlamented/thoroughly-regrettable Janet Reno…but, no seegar there…
New Pool next Friday, nae doot, yes?…
Also – nice, very cogent video, SomeVeg – guy may (likely is) a bit of a Left-leaning froot loop, but at the least he seems able to think a bit.
As the sweet, sad tears and the pleasant, grinding sounds of the Loserville Lumpkins continue to flow across the Intartoobs…

Libs seem to think that all their acting out will somehow bring them a different outcome, or at least make a righteous moral statement.
Instead, all it does it makes us snicker.

If schadenfreude was bad for your spleen half the liberals would have been dead by 2009, and the other half by 2013 (maybe that’s why they lost in 2016? Hmmmmmm….nah…..).
Revenge truly is sweet, no matter what your priest or mother told you.
Just don’t get carried away like the progs did for the last 8 years.

The people marching around, rioting and what not?
If you could get their life info, you’d probably be able to prove a lot of them were marching around, rioting and what not back when they were going to “Occupy Wall-Street” and take all the money from the people who backed their candidate in 2016.

My favorite prog nonsense is federally dependent Californian and Oregonian mobs carrying succession placards…but thinking things through is not their strong suit.
Perhaps we can revisit the division of California…we in the red Northern and Eastern counties would be more than happy to peel off from blue Bay Area and SoCal.

We knocked out a bottle of champagne Wed. night to celebrate America’s near miss of that nuking by Nurse Nasty. Just made another liquor run to continue the party.
Clearly, my intellectual betters on social media are analyzing how we deplorables pulled this off and still can’t stop plagiarizing the other maroons to libsplain it – making it more hilarious.

Fortunately I live in a solid red rural county where folks are pretty stoic anyhow, so after big grins all day Wednesday, things returned to bidness as usual. Gettin’ ‘er done.
However the sheer stupidity of my fellow Californians never ceases to amaze or surprise me. Prop 67 banning single use plastic bags passed 52% to 48%. Plastic bags have already disappeared in grocery stores and shoppers are pissed as paper bags cost a nickle each…another tax on the poor.

Friend of mine employed by CDC, in the darkest heart of PC gummint, Dept H and HS, told me that at least one manager had staff meeting to make available GRIEF COUNSELORS. They were also granting, and I’m not kidding here, “Liberal Leave Policy”, which actually means that leave was granted without concern that yer boss would deny it. Not that gummint managers ever deny leave, because, well, it hardly matters if the staff is actually on the clock, right? I can say that, cuz I did close to 28 years in the morass that is the fed gummint.
