Heh.

ad

Spotted on the bulletin board of a local store earlier today.

Bought our tree. Haven’t put it up yet.

Chickens really, really not happy with quarantine.

That is all.

Here is something to entertain and educate your chickens during their internment.

Chicken Run

Yes, the entire movie, from YouTube

Hopefully, being chickens, they won’t learn too much.

Have you ever seen any of the Creature Comforts shorts? Same creator. They ran some of them at Christmas here one year. Absolutely loads of fun.

I really don’t understand chicken psychology or behavior, so how does one know when their chickens are happy? Rooster does a lot of crowing (bragging about being a rooster)?

Oh, they let you know. Chickens are very vocal and it’s pretty easy to work out what the usual sounds mean. When they see you, they want out and you’re not letting them out, they all go “BA BA BA BA BA BA!!” And they can see me moving around in the kitchen.

It’s nuts-making.

(yeah. I'm going to write)

(oooo! you have a website?)

Beware: more than one link in a comment is apt to earn you a trip to the spam filter, where you will remain -- cold, frightened and alone -- until I remember to clean the trap. But, hey, without Akismet, we'd be up to our asses in...well, ass porn, mostly.
