I wish I’d thought of this…

New Jersey graphic artist Michal Krauthamer ‘shops The Donald’s face onto various Queens of England. It works shockingly well. (I found them in this Anorak article, which includes my favorite examples).

It helps the joke that they’re good clean Photoshops, but then I would say that.

I once did a comic P’shop of Her Maj. Once. A commenter I’d never seen before (or since) turned up and posted with menace “Do not. Photoshop. The Queen.”

I’ll be honest, fam, I was skeert.

I did not recognize The Donald in any of those pictures.
If I save them to my Hard drive, will they be able to track me?

I don’t want Creepy Creedy’s black bag men showing up and hauling me off behind the chemical shed like they did to Mr. Deitrich. (Obscure reference to ‘V for Vendetta’.)

I always wondered if blog owners see the IP of commenters. If you do, you could trace that person who scared you. Wouldn’t it be cool to know it came from The Palace? Ok, not so cool if the IP is within the “Met”.

Especially not cool if it came from inside your house!

Yeah, I can see IP in the comments list in the dashboard. I’ve just looked up in the comment in question, though, and it wasn’t as terse as I remembered, though it was definitely a scold.

I guess I must’ve felt guilty.

Tim Blair listed the IP of a rude e-mail he got once, and it started with 192.168.

So it really was “coming from… inside the house!”

Shd have told them you have dual citizenship and the American side of you is armed to the teeth and not afraid to use firepower. 🙂

But I don’t have dual citizenship yet. Not smart to diss the sovereign when you are petitioning to be a subject.

Love it! Funniest post I’ve seen in weeks. Truly, he’s better looking when he’s wearing flowery hats.

You…shouldn’t….photoshop… the queen!
It’s like saying “Semprini” to her, or “knickners”.
Speaking as a rebellious colonial and IMHO, it just doesn’t seem right somehow.

We ARE talking about Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and NOT Hillary Clinton, right?

“But I don’t have dual citizenship yet.”

I thought you took an oath and everything and swore fealty to the queen?

I still have to do that. And soon, before they raise the prices again. But I’ve just realized that my passport expires soon, and I don’t know if that will affect the process.

I hate flipping bureaucracy.

Beware: more than one link in a comment is apt to earn you a trip to the spam filter, where you will remain -- cold, frightened and alone -- until I remember to clean the trap. But, hey, without Akismet, we'd be up to our asses in...well, ass porn, mostly.
