Go Lillith!

lillith

Lillith the lynx has escaped a zoo in Wales. I’m sure I heard Uncle B say they’d caught her, but the news doesn’t seem to think so.

She’s described as the smallest and sweetest of the three juvenile lynxes born in the zoo last year. They aren’t sure how she got out, but they think she got overexcited chasing a bird and…levitated, I guess.

This is my chance to post one of my favorite gifs. You look. I swear this cat climbs up air.

Stupid magpie.

I normally cringe when I see a cat take a bird, but, good golly!, that bird was askin’ fer it!

No, the bird wasnt asking for it. The bird was protecting something. He died so others could live. Respect!

Trust a cat to escape captivity! At least you know food won’t be a problem, mighty huntress that I’m sure she is.

That was Uncle B’s first thought, Ric Fan, but I’m not so sure. Corvids are weird. There are quite a few videos out there of crows and magpies fucking with cats and dogs.

Magpies in particular have a very bad reputation with farmers here.

My late Maine Coon mix, Arizona, must have thought he should have been a lynx or bobcat, and a mistake happened at the cat factory: He got a long bushy tail, and wound up with me. His ashes are up in the Colorado mountains where bobcats roam and hunt for chicks (of their own kind, and of birds).

“Sweetest” among lynxes, I’m sure, doesn’t mean you could pet her.
