I watched a six minute long YT of Charles Windsor addressing the COP26… he was so dull, so tiresome, droning on and on about how trillions of $$$ (USD) will be needed to correct the problems we humans have brought to Earth with our lousy CO2 exhaust systems, both human and petroleum-based, which serve no purpose other than to participate in the plant-food system which delivers oxygen into the atmosphere.

I had to pause the vid after three minutes because LORD it was tiresome, dull and droning Mr. Windsor, princely though he may be, is dull and boring. Just monotonous!

Oh, so the new security system is at work. I was thinking it was for your house and I spent some time yesterday wondering about why you needed one. Seems obvious now that I go back and actually read that post.

Went to a RAF/USAF banquet back in the day at the RAF base where I was stationed. The MC evidently had a few warm up tipples because his toast to Her Majesty came out as “God shave the Queen!” Poor guy ended up tagged with Gillette as his call sign from that night forward….

Re the poppy – we always get them when they have them here. Ours are generally on a green tie wire used for floral displays so you can wrap them around a shirt pocket button. Yeah, it’s not woke to remember the people who served and those who never came home.
