Hot-hot-hot
Still hot as blazes here. I mean, for England. High eighties every day, but we’ve had fairly low humidity so it hasn’t been too unpleasant. Nice breath of wind by the harbor (pictured).
The real problem is, we haven’t had any rain in weeks and weeks and weeks.
Sorry…I was hanging back waiting for the Garland presser. What the hell was that? I feel like I’ve been rick-rolled.
I’m going for a gin.

Rick-rolled is an understatement. It was an act of defiance to the rule of law and to the Constitution. The key thing to note since this happened is that the elected, appointed, and hired leadership of what is supposed to be an Opposition party are doing their best to pretend this is nothing.
First, I offer the thought for the Gentle Readers; what makes a government legitimate other than deadly force, especially the United States government?
Second, I think a couple of times when things were going stupid over there, I have suggested that you and Uncle B find a bolt hole here in the US. Don’t. Life is about to get interesting in the Chinese sense I fear.
