The bunny beheader hisself

A picture Uncle B took this week of Fatcat in his favorite spot in the greenhouse.

For all the demands he places on his servants and for all his bold bunny hunting, he becomes 100% feral when a stranger appears. He skedaddles when we get a grocery delivery.

Which, pardon me, we have just gotten. I better go put the icecream away.

p.s. Hm. The wavy red line tells me icecream is not all one word. This displeases me.

Fatcat? We had a Fatcat at our detachment in Vietnam back in ’70 (Det 8/330 RRC, Pleiku). Name was because she was preggers.
She also liked to drag in lunch. She, however, wouldn’t present them, she’d just drag them behind a box of incendiary grenades we had on the floor near the map board and munch. Kinda creepy.
When she gave birth we had several kitties running around, but I don’t remember what happened to them. (Her nest wasn’t in our shop, a quonset hut, but outside somewhere.)

For years I’ve been right-clicking on wavy red line words and adding them to my personal dictionary spelled the way *I* want to spell them. I bet if I could look through that list today I’d find some very, very odd things.

*** BREAK ***

Heh! At least in Opera, there’s a place in Settings that takes me to my custom dictionary word list! What I find surprising is that the oddest things are perfectly good words I had to add. For example, “hoi” and of course “polloi” are in there, as are dystopian, hebephilia, hæmorrhoids, panjandrum, statist, and stratoculumus. I didn’t find any actual “personal” spellings, just a few coinages of my own such as “mohammadman” and “congressvermin”.

“congressvermin”…

Perfect that one with a “k” – “kongressvermin”

@ABPB – I like Kongressvermin! Thanks

Although not a redwavyline word, here’s one I use in order to get around commenting moderation that some may find useful: ¬z

@Uncle Am – older books I’ve read sometimes referred to members of Islam as Musselmen. Which the red wavy line elf declares ain’t a word it’s happy about.
I think Mohammedman is perfectly cromulent.

I should like it noted the red wavy line elf is quite happy with “ain’t” though.

@Durnedyankee — In Spanish the word for Muslim is musulman, and in Spanish such words aren’t capitalized.

An older English term is Mohammadan, and I did a mashup to come up with mohammadman, which I use especially for the, ahem, less thoughtful and tolerant members of that group.

Aside: The biggest “tell” about the political stances of the techies running the tech industry is that pretty much all spell checkers recognize “ultraconservative” as a real word but wiggle their digital digits in consternation and despair over the unknown word “ultraliberal”.

@Uncle Al —
Your example is why we should be wary of AI as currently available to the masses. Programs reflect their code. The code reflects the biases of the coders.
