I don’t trust her as far as I can throw Michael Moore, so I won’t believe it ’til it’s dead, embalmed, cremated, and buried. Or perhaps shot into the sun, that’d work too.

I have dreams of some sort of monster that threatens me/my family/the world/etc. It’s always a different sort of monster, and I have to defeat it somehow, usually with help from my kids. My fear is always that it’ll come back someday like it does in movies and books, where the “victors” are rejoicing that the wicked witch is dead, only to cut to a scene where the monster opens up his eye or something forbidding. So I fret in my dreams about how to kill my dream monsters dead, permanently, by burning them or dissecting them or soaking them in acid or whatever. I can’t decide if these dreams are anxiety about cancer coming back to kill me (grrrrrr!) or the state of the country/world/islam these days. Either way, news like this I don’t trust…yeah, as far as I can throw Helen Thomas.

Whenever I see Nancy Pelosi speak, I sort of expect the cockroach to eat its way out of her shell, in a macabre Men In Black sort of way. She makes my skin crawl.

Yes, she certainly is barking mad, and considering that she’ll likely be reelected until she’s dead (or even afterwards, as she *is* a dem), it says alot about the morality of the average San Franciscan.
