Goofin’ on the first lady
You know, sometimes having the mind of an illustrator is a curse. When I saw Michelle Obama’s new thing, I totally didn’t get that the child with the circle under it was an exclamation point. I saw a small child hurtling knees-first at one of those red rubbery kickball balls. Remember them?
And then the whole action sequence played out in my head, see above.
You know, I don’t think Mrs O should be picking on fat kids. I mean, sure, she’s got those terrifyingly toned arms, but then there’s the…you know.
Though I can’t really tell if she really has a Hugh Jazz, or if the combination of the boob belt and a moderate hinder just makes her look like a giant Bartlett pear.

If I could let you post images, I would. But that wouldn’t have worked even so — that’s a square-bracket img tag, and this is pointy-bracket territory.
I swear, it’s like somebody dropped you on your…oh, right.

LOL….. 😉
I was going to argue that point, but then I realized that the next browser window over is a google search on “Figure Skating Wardrobe Malfunctions” for a thread I’m on in the Cornfield.
Kinda proves the point, doesn’t it?

A friend of mine started using a CAT-scan of a brain as her avatar on this forum we hung out on.
I said, “is that really you?”
And she said, “yeah.”
And I said, “what happened? Why did you have a brain scan?”
And she said, “oh, I don’t remember.”
True story.

Totally Off Topic.
Hey! Thanks! I just visited Zazzle and was ecstatic to find a “wanna rassle” t-shirt option. Ordered one (AND a “guards release” one). I should go there more often! (eyeroll. Like that might happen. . .)
OK, thanks for letting me egoize. . . carry on with the TBI topic. . .

EGOIZE? Shit, Can’t hark, you just flogged my crap for me. Thanks!
To be honest, I’m kind of embarrassed to flog it myself. Particularly since I have a very poor sense of what people will like. I’d totally pander if I knew how.

Well, I’m glad to be of service, but if you think YOU have a poor sense of what people will like. . .Oy,veh! I’d say that you can rely on it that anything I like won’t be popular, but I’m not sure even that is a solid prediction. So–you’ll probably sell a total of 1 “wanna rassle” t-shirts. But in doing so you will have made me very happy.

Michelle “Wookie” Obama’s shape reminds me of my Grandmother’s.
When my Grandmother was 70.
Before she lost 60 pounds.

If you’re not with Michelle O, you’re with the fat kids.
(Actually I never saw that as an exclamation point because it was in a different color. Didn’t really even see it as part of the logo, just a random hyperactive-child silhouette.)

To clarify my above, I was playing with pointy bracket thingers in the Ajax editor to see if some combination would slip by…but the WordPress is strong with this one. Ran out of time before finding the magic key.
Oh, and I’m with Weas…WTF? Why is that kid jumping on that ball like that? Won’t the end result be bloody?

The first time I saw that logo I didn’t even see the kid at first, speaking of bloody. I thought it was a blood spatter pattern. Arterial blood spurt kind of pattern. I guess others had the same impression because they cleaned up the image on the website. Or did I eat the wrong kind of mushroom?

Is it just me, or does Big Mo have sort of a Janet Reno *shudder* look going on?
The kid jumping on the ball looks a bit scrawny to be in the program. Couldn’t somebody have drawn a fat kid doing the ball pounce of certain death??

I though the same thing when I saw that logo, actually. What a strange design, why not make the kid stretched out instead of flying through the air with his knees bent? Is it supposed to be dodgeball?

If you look at with your eyes a bit blurred, it actually looks like a stylized human figure falling straight-down head-first (stylized because the ball is the head): the lower legs stick out like trailing arms, while the arms become trailing legs, sticking out of a bunched up skirt (the head).
