Very much not

I’m very much having a bad technology day. I spent a couple of hours troubleshooting my Outlook at work. It received files okay but couldn’t send them. No idea what the problem was, but eventually I clicked “repair” and it fixed it.

My printer sat around with its thumb up its ass every time I tried to print something.

Sat down to launch my browser, Brave asked if I would do an update, did an update and now it won’t open. I’ve found a half dozen people reporting the same – if it was a total bad update it should be thousands. I’ve tried the suggested fixes to no avail. The one thing everyone says will work will wipe out all my passwords, etc., so I ain’t doing that. I guess I’ll wait until Brave updates the update.

Lucky Slimjet remembered my login credentials.

Hey ho – at least Albert is still with us. He’s walking crooked, so I’m working on the assumption he has wry neck. A symptom, not a disease, it may indicate vitamin deficiency. I’m plying him with nutritious treats.

Dunno Brave, but migrating Outlook for a new system a bit ago, I was able to export and then import saved sites/passwords on the new system. DuckDuck lists some sites saying how to do it in Brave. You may not want to stake your life on it, but that could help you out.

As always, Ms. Weasel, if you should be caught or killed, I will disavow ever offering any such advice.

Walking crooked?

Does he claim he fixed NATO?
That may be our President, not your Albert.

Have you ever dreamed of an online world where everything just works….ALL THE TIME?

Come over to the Dark Side, Weasel…. The Apple is calling you…. everything just works….ALL THE TIME ….

All you have to do is give up your freedom…. who wants to fiddle with C Prompt anyhow? Nasty hard work, that is….

When the ducks are in a row, there’s a big problem for them: enfilading fire from Elmer Fudd.

I don’t think he can risk that shot.
That first duck looks to be a fricasseeing duck.
I’ll bet he doesn’t have a fricasseeing duck license.

And, it’s wabbit season, not duck season.

Keeping you password info in your browser is not really a good idea. You might want to consider a password manager like Bitwarden; then you’re free to try any browser you want with no migration issues. Bitwarden imports from Brave just fine TYVM.

I hate all these PW rules. How am I supposed to have new passwords for all my accounts that are not similar. I change mine quite frequently since I do not remember them anyway.

Remember kids!

Don’t write your password down on a post-it and stick it on your monitor.
That’s inefficient and causes clutter and might allow hackers who break into your house to steal your info.

Put that information on the cloud or in your browser where it can be more efficiently stolen by hackers from across the globe!
