Mood.

I blew out my rear tire over the weekend, somehow. A man with a van just came and took my bike away in a howling gale. We get some weather!

I mean, the tire is one thing, but it’s ten years old now and it shows. The cosmetics are grungy and the motor is starting to stutter. He’s going to give it a onceover and get back to me.

I’ll let you know the verdict. Surely the fact this man sells electric bikes won’t affect his judgement.

I hope all’s well.
Missus Mulroy has a proper British cycle, and I have a Chicago frame Schwinn Varsity. Both are older than we are.
I don’t know what we’d do without them.

10 years seems like a pretty good run for an electric bike used practically daily. I assume it lives a typical bicycle life style of not-quite left out in the weather but not exactly stored carefully either.

Do you have a particular model in mind if you do decide to replace it?

Surely.

(yeah. I'm going to write)

(oooo! you have a website?)

Beware: more than one link in a comment is apt to earn you a trip to the spam filter, where you will remain -- cold, frightened and alone -- until I remember to clean the trap. But, hey, without Akismet, we'd be up to our asses in...well, ass porn, mostly.
