Not the duke and duchess of *me*

Yet another rebrand. The Queen slapped sussexroyal.com out of their hands and now they’ve abandoned archewell.com and redirected it to sussex.com

No way sussex.com was free, I thought.

And I was right. According to WHOIS, the URL was registered in 1995. The Wayback Machine says it was active from 1995 until 2013. It was owned by a software company in the States called Sussex Systems, Inc.

It went dark for ten years and then up it pops on February 4 this year with these two muppets attached. I’m guessing after the demise of Sussex Systems, somebody squatted on the name all that time. I’d love to know what they had to pay for it.

It would be even better if the King took their titles away so they couldn’t use it any more. I’m sick of them messing up my Google searches.

Now they’re claiming “Sussex” is their name.

Err….only because you’re the duke thereof, you twit.
Royal as you might be (have been?) your surnmae, sir, is Montbatten-Windsor.

So Charles should make you “Duke of Twatt and the Isle of Orkney”.

First time I ever saw actress Megs, she was performing a twopenny stand-up in the law library on “Suits”. Poor Queen Elizabeth, having to act like Megs was such a catch for her idiot grandson.
Hope these two end up penniless…

I think this much must be said for Markle: she earned her own living, which is more than any other royal has done that I know of.

Some of them earned their pay when doing military service, to be sure. And some of them work very hard at “royal duties”. But neither of those is the same as going out on one’s own and making a considerable success in a very competitive field.

Credit where credit is due; that’s all.

(yeah. I'm going to write)

(oooo! you have a website?)

Beware: more than one link in a comment is apt to earn you a trip to the spam filter, where you will remain -- cold, frightened and alone -- until I remember to clean the trap. But, hey, without Akismet, we'd be up to our asses in...well, ass porn, mostly.
