Pinched! (I hope)
We have to go out tonight, so I shall fob you off with something short and pointless. I’m not sure I’ve ever posted a picture of my demitasse from the House of Commons.
See the little icon of Traitors’ Gate? That’s their logo.
It was an Ebay purchase. I’d dearly love to think it was pinched, but for all I know they have a little gift shop and they sell Parliament-themed tchotchkes.

Not related but British anyway: I bought a BOAC mug in the Salvation Army store in 1998, and it was my favorite mug for years. Dropped it on the patio about 15 years later. Very sad. It held the perfect amount of coffee.

Old buddy of mine worked at a place. hotel/condo. One of the tenants was, shall we say, ‘W’. My bud got all sorts of shit from W’s entourage (okay, Secret Service detail). Presidental ashtrays, notepads, and (his fave) an entire roll of stickers reading “This Telephone Is NOT SECURE!” (Picks up phone, hits star4 for room service, “hi, this is George in #nnn, could you send up eight club sandwiches?” and is tackled by his agents. Mr President! That is NOT a SECURE LINE!!!)
