Well, maybe

inktober001

Welp, it’s Inktober again. Yes, it’s one of those silly internet things, along the lines of NaNoWriMo, but less like gargling salt water and broken glass.

The idea is that you do an ink drawing every day for the month of October and post it. It’s a way of practicing discipline and honing skills, enforced by peer pressure, so I expect to make it a week at most. Usually, I realize it’s Inktober about five days in, when I stumble over a drawing on social media, but I saw it coming this year.

Day one was yesterday, and that’s my Day One drawing up there. Hrm. I haven’t thought this through. I guess I’ll put them on my Twitter as I do them and post them here whenever. Y’all can take bets when I bottle out. It’ll be like an extra Dead Pool, with schadenfreude as the prize.

Oh, if you want to see some fun art, good and bad, search the #inktober tag on Twitter. It’s, like, hundreds a minute at the beginning. Substantially less toward the end.

p.s. Talk about anything you want in the comments.

How come you brits make your conservative pols run a gauntlet of spit, urine, eggs, trash, etc? The cops do nothing. At least in the US they can enter a venue without being assaulted.

You know who invented free speech cages? The DNC. That was bc leftards attacked them, too. So, free speech cages, brits. Use them.

According to the latest news, Tom Petty is now a Monty Python Parrot – only mostly dead. Sorry, but have to find gallows humor wherever you can these days.

Whoever manufactured the Immidge above is a sorry remf.
Body of a bovine, snout entirely wrong.
Probably the same outfit that packaged Zark Muckerberg into a hominid squishsuit.

You fool noone.

Why would we wish to gain schadenfreude on your dime?
Nah.
Like the porker.

Carry on, as we will.

Craziest thing I’ve ever done. I went boar hunting with someone certifiable and we used Boar Spears. I probably should have thought it through a bit more beforehand, but what the hell I survived.

Two things I find amazing.
They never draw pictures of the aliens who held the fusion lamps while they drew (Aziz! LIGHT! Thank you Aziz…)
And
They drew prehistoric porn too.

The boar or wild pig is excellent. He looks dissatisfied, or disgruntled, or something. Of course all pigs look kind of like that, don’t they?

OT: There is a short story by SF writer Alan E. Nourse from the 1950s, in which he suggests, only partly tongue-in-cheek, that it is pigs and humans who have the common ancestor, not apes and humans. He adduces several proofs, such as, “What other animal is as consistently dirty as humans?” Apparently pigs and humans have more in common in the blood and immune system department than apes and humans do. And at the climax, his lead character displays an image of a newborn pig next to that of a newborn human. Case closed.

I forgot to mention how much I liked your bramble border along the bottom.

(yeah. I'm going to write)

(oooo! you have a website?)

Beware: more than one link in a comment is apt to earn you a trip to the spam filter, where you will remain -- cold, frightened and alone -- until I remember to clean the trap. But, hey, without Akismet, we'd be up to our asses in...well, ass porn, mostly.
