Spam is weird
I’m not even sure why I opened this one; seldom a good idea with spam. I guess because I take zinc supplements and I wanted to hear what they had to say. So why haven’t I got real estate commissions? I supplement already!
We had an absolutely gorgeous weekend, weather-wise. I did, in fact, go outside and touch grass (as the kids say). But I also spent a whole lot of time playing VR.
Do you remember, back in the day, when you’d go to the movies for an early show and, after seeing the film, you stepped out of the dark theater into the noonday sun? That’s what it’s like to play a whole lot of VR and then land back in reality with a thump.
Pablo has won the Dead Pool. I was going to disallow it on account of the name didn’t ring a bell, but it came back to me when I found out McCall was the singer of Convoy.
Oh, yeah. That guy. See y’all Friday (at the very least).

I actually had a CB radio for a brief period in😳 1978. I bought it for an epic road trip from Boise Idaho to my home in northwestern Pennsylvania; it being February we elected to drive south past the Grand Canyon, spend a day in Taos, and then headed east towards New Orleans. A day there to ‘rest’ (heh!) and then up the East Coast to D.C. From D.C we wandered northwest towards home. About 5,000 miles in 10 days. Ah, we were young then! Anyhow, my ‘handle’ was “Little Feet” and my buddy was “Sailing Shoes”. The CB was moderately useful but never proved vital. ‘Breaker-Breaker- fever’ was abating by then…the days when every housewife had one were over. We did become recognized by some of the truckers out west as we driving my yellow Alfa Romeo and driving 100 mph a lot of the time – hey! I was leaving the country so I wasn’t worried about tickets!
I must say that having a CB did improve my real estate commissions though…

I highly recommend looking up Mccalls ‘crispy critters’ on youtube. Based on true events and highly prophetic of the times we live in today.
