All good things must come to an end

Awoo! Awoo! Pity a poor weasel what am going back to work tomorrow!

On the other hand – never mind. I feel sorry enough for both of us.

Still, it’s a good sign that I had a nice time. And I did. I promise you, you’ve never known anyone with more talent at doing nothing at all than me. I was born to be bone idle.

Ah, well.

What’s really sad is that you don’t have “staff” to make your self-proclaimed idleness even nicer… More’s the pity!

That’s arguable, ma’am. Consider that I much prefer a mouse over a touch pad because using a mouse requires less exertion. I wouldn’t want to get all tuckered out, now, would I? (-;

I’d challenge you to a torpidity contest but the very idea makes me break out in a sweat and feel faint. I think I’ll go lie down now.

Idle?
Does sitting around battling wolves, brigands, wild boars, weird evil nobles, etc, in War Tales for hours on end, count as being slothful and idle?

Because the unmarried Durnedsons showed up during Christmas.
And apparently decided I wasn’t idle enough in retirement and between runs to Dutch Brothers coffee and playing War Tales themselves they bought me a copy…

The last time they did such a thing I wasted enough time to build Rome while wandering around Azaroth and didn’t stop myself for 6 years.

I didn’t go into programming to write Coms and banking software, or because I loved computers. I went into programming because of a game called Battleship, played on a Data General Nova computer back in 1973 or so, that loaded with a paper tape reader.

Half a century later….still an idle addict.

Hope y’all are having some fun yourselves here in 2024. Keep an eye out for Replicants.
