Now we’ll lick ’em for sure!

Bill (still the .00358% of my traffic that’s from Iraq) T sent me this snapshot. It’s the personal insignia for the Mobile Transition Team based near him and somebody will be out soon with the crayons to color it in.

Thanks, Bill (blah de blah de blah) T!

That’s it. Don’t want to step on the thread below (which you’re welcome to keep adding to). Have a good weekend, everyone!

I know the USAF loves Weasels, the Wilder the better. The USN prefers Badgers, however, see DD-126, DD-196, DD-657, and FF-1071, and of course, BB-64, the Big Badger Boat, herself!

Cool drawing of a weasel, though, kudos to the drawer.

I like how the weasel is winking as it prepares to put a really big cap in your nethers.

Hunh. Badgers go to sea? Somehow I never thought of them as aquatic mammals. . .Learn something new every day.

Yup. Of course, the MTT guys at K-1 are Army. The branch insigs around the Arméd Mustelid are a sop to the total composition of the Iraq contingent. I know the Navy CPO in the one at Al-Kut — he’s teaching Improved Pisciculture at a farm co-op.

Yeah, Iraq has fish farms in the desert. Tilapia and catfish — what else?

Hey, Dave, I never saw a single ThunderThud the whole time I was in scenic SEA, but had to listen to them for three years after I got back — I got stuck in a training battalion at Ft. Dix, right next door to McGuire AFB.

Wease, I’m currently almost in your new part of the world. Tonight in Kinsale Ireland. I don’t get this whole left side of the street driving thing. Thang heavens I brought my husband who can drive anything anywhere (the Army taught him well) for the promise of beer at the end of the drive. The left side of the rental isn’t looking too bad so far….a few scrapes and missing the left hind hubcap.

Whoa, you’re right, Surly! I hope he doesn’t begrudge the lads their use of it.

When I saw it, I immediately thought of this image.
