My ladybits need this

Ladies and gentlemen, Viktor Yanukovich’s gold-encrusted bidet. You know, the ex-president of Ukraine who just did a runner.

I was a little uncomfortable with protestors raiding his house, but it turns out his official salary was less than $22,500 a year and — holy cow, you should see this place.

They’re dredging papers out of his personal lake that help document the corruption, and corruption it certainly is. He’s been in government since 1996, and before that he was regional head of a trucking company for twenty years, and before that he was a petty criminal, apparently. The ex-prosecutor-general Viktor Pshonka has skipped town, too, leaving a lavish palace behind.

Gold. Encrusted. Bidet. It’s a pity you can’t buy good taste.

p.s. Not, let’s be frank, that our lot are much better. There’s no possible way a legislator can rack up millions in office that doesn’t involve something very crooked and wrong.

It’s not the salary, it’s the fringe benefits…

Squeeeeee!! Just got my dick in the mail! Thanks so much Madame S.

Even the envelope will be framed to hang with the lovely artwork, muddy Jack prints and all.

This is way better than a Yanukovich bidet.

Gold bidet fixtures and adornment? Aside from not paying for it himself, I don’t see a problem. Gold looks great, doesn’t tarnish, and is easy to keep clean.

What’s big deal? I have a somewhat similar device in my home and it has golden encrustations on it dating back to at least 1996… believe me when I say it ain’t no palace neither!

Heh. I’d forgotten Jack walked muddy paws all over one. Glad it got there.

I think I’m still two behind.

I’m not EVEN going to allow either of my toilets see this or they’ll be demanding better bennies and gold leaf.

I’m clearly in the wrong business.

The problem with the vast majority of revolutions is that the folks with their heads screwed on straight are neither in power nor the ones trying to oust the current power-holders. But, of course if they were “protesting” by living in filthy shanty towns they could hardly have their heads screwed on straight. & if they were living richly by theft & graft, they would equally be unsuited to the appellation.

Perhaps we need a new law: every fat person in power or seeking power shall be rendered into Mrs. Farmowl’s Finest Lard & used for cooking the skinny ones.

Gold encrusted crappers seem to be de rigeur for all the trendiest despots.

Well, bear in mind that many legislators have day jobs. In most states the legislature only meets part of the year, or even every other year.

And some people are already millionaires when they go into politics, so it’s not hard for them to make millions more.

However, there are endless ways for a politician to cash in on his position. Most of them are legal, unfortunately. The obvious one is for a crony businessman to slip him a piece of the action on some guaranteed-profit deal.

He is still the democratically elected President of the Ukraine.

Unlike the puppets installed in a failed CIA coup in the Ukriane ….
