Dead Pool Round 124: Comes the Fall

Deborah HH wins again with Jeffrey Epstein. An inspired pick, and yet somehow I would have said a long shot.

I mean, can you believe this shit? From the article above: ‘If Epstein’s neck fracture was fresh, Hua said, then “at a minimum, it’s a very unusual suicide.”’

Ya think? Scare a bunch of perverted billionaires, and the whackiest things happen!

Okay. Enough of that. Are you ready?

0. Rule Zero (AKA Steve’s Rule): your pick has to be living when picked. Also, nobody whose execution date is circled on the calendar. Also, please don’t kill anybody. Plus (Pupster’s Rule) no picking someone who’s only famous for being the oldest person alive.

1. Pick a celebrity. Any celebrity — though I reserve the right to nix picks I never heard of (I don’t generally follow the Dead Pool threads carefully, so if you’re unsure of your pick, call it to my attention).

2. We start from scratch every time. No matter who you had last time, or who you may have called between rounds, you have to turn up on this very thread and stake your claim.

3. Poaching and other dirty tricks positively encouraged.

4. Your first choice sticks. Don’t just blurt something out, m’kay? Also, make sure you have a correct spelling of your choice somewhere in your comment. These threads get longish and I use search to figure out if we have a winner.

5. It’s up to you to search the thread and make sure your choice is unique. I’m waayyyy too lazy to catch the dupes. Popular picks go fast.

6. The pool stays open until somebody on the list dies. Feel free to jump in any time. Noobs, strangers, drive-bys and one-comment-wonders — all are welcome.

7. If you want your fabulous prize, you have to entrust me with a mailing address. If you’ve won before, send me your address again. I don’t keep good records.

8. The new DeadPool will begin 6pm WBT (Weasel’s Blog Time) the Friday after the last round is concluded.

The winner, if the winner chooses to entrust me with a mailing address, will receive an Official Certificate of Dick Winning and a small original drawing on paper suffused with elephant shit particles. Because I’m fresh out of fairy shit particles.

You know, I think this whole Epstein mess is going to interfere with Hillary’s remaining political ambitions – anyone else see the recent report about the painting of Bill Clinton in The Blue Dress found in Epstein’s Manhattan apartment? I think Bill is now officially more of a problem than a benefit…
and besides, the Hildabeast could use a little sympathy bump in her polling numbers, so:

Editor’s note: I wanted to insert a picture of Hillary crying but a search only turned up this picture

– The first CDP was on August 26, 2009 (almost 10 years!)
– This is the 124th CDP, but Weasel has skipped 6 DPs in
the past (14, 17, 29, 30, 65, & 81), making this CDP #118
(but that’s our little secret … don’t say anything)
– This is my 71st unique entry, under the names Timothy S.
Carlson and Tim Carlson
– My most picked celebrities have been Carol Channing (5),
Doris Day (3), Nancy Pelosi (3), Hugh Hefner (3), and
Gloria Arroyo (3)
– My very first pick was Barack Obama in CDP #5, 02/26/10

Yeah, I created a database of my picks in the CDP. I’m retired now and I have a _lot_ of time on my hands. *grin*

In theory there were two or three staff on duty in the Special Management Unit at the Metropolitan Correctional Center. At least one was NOT a Correctional Officer, but while an employee of the Fed BOP was some other job. However many there were, they admit to sleeping through the night instead of making the required 1/2 hourly checks. Their continued existence could be inconvenient to whichever foreign or domestic power set this up. I expect them to die. In addition, the Warden of the MCC at the time, Lamine N’Diaye, has been transferred away from MCC. N’Diaye supposedly was the former head of Internal Affairs for BOP, which outranks any warden slot. Which makes one wonder what he was doing there. It may be he knows too much for the comfort for said power. So I am bidding Lamine N’Diaye and whatever staff were on duty in the Special Management Unit that night. I am not sure whether or not, if the non-Correctional Officer on duty was an assigned hit man, if that puts him more or less at risk.
