I call this one ‘tragicomic’

hillary4

Once again, the big version required no Photoshopping at all. The picture was knicked from this article in Politico. I recommend it. It’s schadenfreudelicious!

We went to the office Christmas party tonight. Read: room full of elderly academics drinking wine and reading poetry aloud. It was a strange and wonderful thing.

Did any of the academics read aloud “Here Comes Santa Claus” or “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas?” No? Too bad. It would even be a hoot to hear the spoken interpretation of “Fa la la la la, la la la la.” Academically speaking….

It was largely comic poetry and many of ’em were pretty well lit up, so there’s that.

Oh, elderly, lit up academics… there’s a prescription for a broken hip or two.

Thursday’s Hillary has far to go … just not to the White House. Hahahahaha

And as someone from Michigan (re: Politico article), as well as a (reluctant) member of the Unidentified Alien Workforce, I helped her to lose.

Hahahahahahahaha.

You, Ms. Stoaty, are an amazingly tolerant person.
May your twelve days of Festivus be fruitful, and multiply your happiness.

Sweas:

I said I would steal the image for a T-shirt, and I did. The second image. And wore it to our county TEA Party Christmas and electoral Thanksgiving party last light. Where it was a hit.

Poetry? Christmas Theme? 12 Days Of Christmas?

Got it!

On the first day of Christmas, a good thought came to me:
There’ll never be a President Hillary!

An interesting little tidbit from our local (Dallas Tx) newspaper about Christopher Suprun who has made the news as the only (vocal) faithless Republican Elector…

Seems he has made a local reputation as a 9/11 First Responder… ‘cept it turns out he has been lying about it for years.

Let’s see if the NYT and the BBC et al bother to report this

“It was largely comic poetry and many of ’em were pretty well lit up, so there’s that.”

So did any of their poems start with “There once was a girl from Nantucket”?
