That’s what I wanted!
See, this is what the whole exercise was about: cat buddies. They’ve been playfighting and rough-housing, but this is the first time I’ve caught them having a snooze together.
Something about not usually being allowed to sleep on the bed that will do that.
‘Twas a glorious sunny day in the garden today, but another near freezing one tonight – a pattern that will be repeated for some time.
Off for a bath!

The county were I live, mostly rural with a University, just detected its first coronavirus case; an adult male with a recent history of domestic travel through airports.
I was hoping we were isolated enough that it might miss us. That hope is now gone; replaced by fear that one will become one hundred that will soon become a thousand, and etc and so forth.
I don’t have enough food stored to last through this crisis and will have to go to Walmart at some time and that is a much more risky thing now than it was a few days ago.

I am impressed by the organization at the local super.
Limited number of customers allowed inside, person outside to squirt stuff on your hands, disposable gloves which are very hard to put on wet hands, tape on the floor to indicate the distance to stand from the counter and a one way flow system in and out.

Today, on OAN, in India, they were caning the people who were disobeying the stay at home rule or whatever they call it there. The police/soldiers were whacking them good. Didn’t see any females. Just young men. It was hard to believe as I had never seen such a thing before.

@PatAZ LA Mayor Garcetti announced that non-essential businesses that don’t close will have their power and water turned off. Scratch a Progressive facade and you’ll find a totalitarian…every time. It’s going to get very real in SoCAl.
