On a Wednesday?

I’ve mentioned before that we live on the road to a popular beach. Today – a Wednesday – it was blazing sunny and rammed with traffic. Many, many more than could possibly fit on the beach. Stupid furlough.

Social media tells me they closed the parking lots near the beach and people parked wherever they liked. Sidewalks, lawns. Then even that filled up and several just abandoned their cars in the road. That halted all traffic, including the bus.

Big cat has been missing all day. Most unlike him. On a hunch, I managed to struggle across the road and find him, trapped on the other side.

He was totally back in feral mode. He’s terrified of the traffic, so he won’t go near until it’s completely quiet. I tried to stuff him in a cat carrier and that lost the thin thread of trust I’d managed to rebuild with him. And he scampered off into a corn field.

So we wait. It’s likely to be hours before the traffic is light enough that he’ll chance it on his own. I just hope baby kitty doesn’t go looking for him.

Cars abandoned on the road… huh!

I swear, the only thing I could think of was The Once-in-a-Generation Free Concert and Love Fest held at Woodstock, NY (actually in a large pasture near there) where people abandoned their conveyances to get to the free stuff and the traffic jams were… really big, huge even.

Did you read that the DC Circuit Court of Appeals granted Lt. Gen. Flynn’s Writ of Mandamus and ordered Judge Sullivan to dismiss his case?

Also, the DoJ released hand-written notes by Deputy Asst. Director Strzok which directly implicate Obama and Biden in the plot to frame and convict Lt.Gen Flynn.

It’s been a big day and no kitties were killed on the road.

Glad he’s home Weasy!

We’ve had Mississippi Kites whirling around the creek in back of the house. I think it was a nested pair that had a couple younguns.

They don’t look big enough to haul a 10 lb (English measure) Pomchee away, but between the Kites and the Bobcats… I be apprehensive when they’re let out to frolic (pair of happy frolicky morons, the both of them).

ExpressoBold:

It may not be over. Judge Sullivan has the technical option of appealing for an en banc hearing by the entire Circuit Court panel. This decision was by a 3 judge panel and the vote was 2-1. Given it is the DC Circuit, they may be the only two of the 11 judges who believe in the law and Constitution. Their presiding Justice is Chief Justice Roberts.

@ Subotai Bahadur

Yes, Margot Cleveland has speculated that Sullivan will do this.

Nobody knows until the judge follows the law or flouts his black robe some more at Lt.Gen Flynn and Sidney Powell.
