Social closening

This was a beach in Bournemouth today. It was like this all along the South coast. Some places declared a public emergency.

I’ll be honest. I don’t know what that means. They sure didn’t bring in the military to restore order or anything.

I’m sure the beach near us was like this today but, more important to us, the roads were jammed again. My WhatsApp group was alive with reports of public pissing. In their wisdom, they’ve shut the public bathrooms and people are finding Dreadful Things in the dunes and on their front lawns.

Quite a lot of people passed our drive walking toward the beach and only one group I heard was speaking English.

If there isn’t an almighty spike of flu cases in a week, we should throw up our hands and abandon this whole lockdown lark.

Don’t give them ideas. They’ll send the plague crew into a senior center or home, infect and kill a passel of oldsters and when they die they’ll claim there’s a huge spike in the number of cases and everybody needs to hide in their closet again till Covid leaves the house.

This has been going on in my little ‘burg of coastal California for a couple months now. The brain trust in Sacramento closed all beach parking lots and bathrooms, but not the beaches themselves. Even the pricks in Sac are scared of the Coastal Commission. So my area is residential close to a certain stretch of beach. Thanks to Google maps, everyone that would have gone to beaches from Pescadero to Pacifica came here instead. Parked on peoples lawns, in their driveways, pissed in their bushes and left piles of dirty diapers and fast food garbage on their curbs. Memorial day looked like Woodstock on the beach. We quit going. They opened up the parking and bathrooms a couple weeks ago, it’s better but still a clusterfuck.

Is this a beach where they don’t go in the water? I don’t see any people dressed for swimming. Why no bathing suits?

I’m half-convinced this whole thing is a 4-chan prank to get the entire world to do a version of the hokey-pokey:

♪Put the face-mask on,
Take the face-mask off,
Put the face-mask on and cover up your cough!
You do the Social Distance and turn life upside down.
THAT’S WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT!♫

It’s the jokey-pokey all right. Here in the People’s Democratic Republic of New Jersey, our commie governor is now adding all the suspected and assumed deaths to the COVID count. Maybe this is what the CDC has been doing since April, but his actions today jacked the numbers up 14%. And the hospitals get more money from the state for it, and the state gets more money from the feds for it. IT’S A SCAM. You must social distance at all times, but rioting and tearing down statues is perfectly OK. Um, yeah, NO.

The “good” news is, if we all behave properly, he’ll open up a tiny bit more of the economy on July 2. At 25% capacity. I am so fed up with this nonsense. The damn virus has been practically gone here since mid-May.

We are having the same problems here – large parties, drinking, karaoke, people gathering in large groups without masks – and now we are have a large spike in cases. There’s even rumors that Metro Manila could be thrown back into an Enhanced Community Quarantine / Lockdown because of it. In fact, a barangay (neighborhood) in our city has been put back in ECQ because of a spike in cases.

One of the agency heads said that the spike is _not_ because Filipinos are hard-headed (stubborn). Yeah, right. I think he’s wrong.

It’s going to get much worse before it gets better, I think …

And BTW: My 19yo nephew tested positive for the chinese lung rot, but asymptomatic. So he is in a government-run quarantine facility for 2-3 weeks, his immediate family (mom, dad, 2 sisters) are in-home quarantined and being tested, and the households directly around his house are in-home quarantined … but not being tested. Go figure.

“Testing” – just gives them an excuse to pretend that people who have “had” it are suddenly just contracting it.

So they can scream about the number of infected people while pretending it HAS to result in a higher than before death toll.

So now they can test everyone. They discover a lot of people get it and are asymptomatic, or had it and got over it without being hospitalized.

So the NEW plan is PRETENDING that these are all NEW cases that happened because we let people live their lives again contrary to the original plan to destroy 1st World economies.

Yes, it is a real disease, but the reaction to it is a horribly destructive scam. Hospitals are counting every patient admitted for whatever cause but who tests positive for the ChiCom Plague as a ChiCom Plague patient because that way, as @Drew458 accurately observes, they get more money from their state govt. And the state govt gets more money from the feddle govt. And governors and fed “authorities” get more power to totally screw things up.

And on top of it all is the historical election record that shows a poor economy results in a poorer election showing for an incumbent president, and so the main drivers of this whole scam are Democrats, Anti-Trumpers, Deep State swamp rats, Big Tech social(ist) media moguls, and their lap dogs of the “news” media.

Yeah, you might say I AM REALLY REALLY PISSED OFF about this mess.
