Fat cat

Unrelated, I have joined the Prehistoric Society. I did so to get my hands on their back issues. Turns out, you can get all their newsletters online for free.

Still, you’ve got to join to get the annual Proceedings, so I’m starting there.

Fascinating stuff.

For the record, I just showed your “fat cat” drawing to my 22 pound cat Anton.

He feels that ‘fat’ is a mischaracterization, and wants to complain to you about it… after he finishes his dinner.

Which prehistoric society?
Ancient order of Mound Builders?
Ruten Tuten pyramid society?
Aye Aeta Bagel Fraternal order of Acropolis Masons?
Flaming Godly Chariot Campfire Scouts?
Future TRex Farmers of Pangea?

Prehistoric Society? I guess they’ve been around so long nobody remembers when they got started.

Actually, smarty pantses, the Prehistoric Society was founded in 1935. It’s shocking how uninterested Brits were in their early history until quite recently.

I blame the Romans.

Seriously.

Beware: more than one link in a comment is apt to earn you a trip to the spam filter, where you will remain -- cold, frightened and alone -- until I remember to clean the trap. But, hey, without Akismet, we'd be up to our asses in...well, ass porn, mostly.
