Yeah, swords and weasels. Not a good idea. That whole “short front legs” thing again.
And with that, we come to the end of Weasel’s Birthday Week. Oh, I shall celebrate my birthday for the entire month of May, but I’m back to work on Monday and back to my regularly scheduled routine. Hopefully with some nice loot and stories to tell.
I dunno. I’m writing this on April 29.

Thirty-one days of Happy, Stoaty! I hope you’ve had a good week and that Uncle Badger came up to snuff with the pretty paper and ribbons. Not to mention cake and ice cream, and champagne and strawberries.
For my birthday, Husband gave me a subscription to the Major League Baseball channel: I am squared away through October. So—No Politics!

I can’t wait for Weasel, et al, to opine on this week’s events. London (londonistan?) has its first Muslim mayor? Trump is the Republican candidate for the US presidency? Past republican candidates (Romney, McCain, entire Bush family) refuse to support Trump? Germans have violent protests over Merkel? The 500€ note is being eliminated?

I’ve seen the construction “Londonistan” a half dozen times today. But shouldn’t the capital of Englastan be called Londonabad?

We learn things at this site! Yes, cities should end in “abad” while countries end in “stan”. So Muslim folks who are “Paki” live in Islamabad, a city in Pakistan.
What was I thinking? Well, the US media uses the wrong terminology! They say Dearbornastan all the time. Michigan, for some reason, is a common destination point for Muslim immigrants (the weather?).
And I fell for it, the damned dishonest media got me again.
