Twilight zone…

In case you missed the conversation, the blog is currently being migrated to another host. Because it’s been in the same place so long and I’ve been less than tidy in my workspace, the process is a little…messy. Anything I post (and any comment you make) during the transition is likely to be lost, so zero effort for tonight. I’ll ‘splain the particulars when it’s done.

It’s about the money, isn’t it?
Always the money.

It’s about the stupid, Skandia. I’ve been carrying two hosts for ages, one for the blog and the other for a few random domains I bought and don’t do much with. I’ve been meaning to switch them all to one host for, like, SIX YEARS.

I’m lazy and I knew it would be ass-ache, so I put it off. I have an almost infinite ability to procrastinate.

In my last comment I made a serious error. In step 7, I said to travel on a heading of 57° true, but that is wrong. You need to use a heading of 57° magnetic as it was in March of 1944.

The corrected heading will take you to the Nazi bullion cache in Finnland. The earlier instructions pretty much guarantee you will be eaten by Nile crocodiles.

Sorry.

Sigh – It’s always the same old problem – How can you be in two places at once and still be nowhere at all?

@Some Vegetable – Well, it isn’t easy but it can be done if you pay attention to Zeno’s Paradox.

I coulda sworn I saw a Tuesday post up there – y’know – up above this one?

T’was there just for an instant (or maybe an hour or so). Maybe it was a dream….

Reminds me of:

Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn’t there
He wasn’t there again today
I wish, I wish he’d go away…

Yeah, I know she’s messin’ about, but …

You did, McGoo. You did. I tolja everything we did during Limbo period would evaporate…

The only thing of any import: I SAW A REAL, LIVE WEASEL YESTERDAY. On Midsummer’s day. Crossing the road.

I remember that (the “Disappearing”, and the weasel), Stoaty! 🙂 I was just funnin’ around.

But it did occur to me to wonder, “Did the weasel cross the road just to get to the other side – much like a chicken?” I would like to believe that the weasel had a more nefarious reason to cross the road. Maybe it was pursuing the chicken.

Darn. Ms Stoat and Stilton Jarlsberg (http://hopenchangecartoons.blogspot.com ) both down the same week. Really puts a kink in my daily reads. Good thing Lileks didn’t go to Arizona this week.

(yeah. I'm going to write)

(oooo! you have a website?)

Beware: more than one link in a comment is apt to earn you a trip to the spam filter, where you will remain -- cold, frightened and alone -- until I remember to clean the trap. But, hey, without Akismet, we'd be up to our asses in...well, ass porn, mostly.
