Fab four

Bit of an anticlimax to watch: they decided mama was not progressing well enough and whisked her off to the vet. An our later, four healthy kittens appeared on camera. Delivered by caesarean (one had to have a little atropine assist to get his tiny ticker going). Three tabbies and a ginger.

I recommend you hold onto the link. They’ll follow these little wigglers right up to adoption time and these babies grow fast.

This (and I’m sure many other) animal charities make serious bank via these kitten cams. And more power to them — you’ve got to buy the Friskies somehow.

I’m sure there’s a doggo equivalent, for you weird non-cat people. I couldn’t find a live puppy cam, but here’s a live cam of elderly dogs eating. For some reason.

Every morning (oh, say, 4:00) starts out with the “Mieow Mieow Mieow” channel (I’m going to see if the vet can install a snooze button in her) until she exits the stage out onto the porch to see if it’s any different than it was 5 hours ago.

Then the “Dopey dancing dog Circus” show starts up and runs all day with frequent run on & off guest appearances by “Delilah the cat”.

If it weren’t for the excessively unphotogenic nature of the humans here we’d probably have a channel of our own.

If this were an old-style young people’s story, the little kitten who needed his heart jump-started would grow up to be the biggest and most beautiful cat the heroine has ever seen. . . .

I brought up that channel for my grouchy old tom Moffett but he just looked at it a sec, bit me, and walked away. A normal morning.

(yeah. I'm going to write)

(oooo! you have a website?)

Beware: more than one link in a comment is apt to earn you a trip to the spam filter, where you will remain -- cold, frightened and alone -- until I remember to clean the trap. But, hey, without Akismet, we'd be up to our asses in...well, ass porn, mostly.
