Thank you
Pic is a random driving snapshot off my phone because I like clouds. I have a lot of these. They all look stupid when you get home.
Thank you all for indulging me this Inktober. ‘Twas fun.
It’ll be a month tomorrow since I picked up this bug, and I’m still not over it yet. It’s a total stamina vampire. I’ve appreciated being able to curl up in my chair and draw hands instead of having to think.
Yeah. I think a lot for this blog.

Hope you’re feeling better, SWeasy…if you’re sick this long, it usually means you need antibiotics.

Well, technically if you don’t shave your upper lip you are participating in Movember.

Perchance might you be allergic to cats? Or at least one specific cat???

I had exactly the same thing for months…weak, limp and just not feeling well. Every cold came my way. Then I started adding live probiotics to my diet daily. I made dill pickles, live yogurt & fruit smoothies, fermented carrots & ginger, kimchee, saurkraut…now I’m a fermenting fool!
Of course you can buy live culture yogurt, kerfir and probiotic tonics/shots at most supermarkets nowadays. I was skeptical, but a friend kept at me like a terrier on a rat…I tell ya it works…you have to get your gut critters amped up.

@BJM—you are an intrepid fella if you have made your own kimchee. The only kind of sauerkraut I like is the homemade kind, but I’ve never done it myself (or kimchee!). But now I live in an old German settlement—maybe I can find some; had not thought of that before.
Stoaty? Could there be a mold problem? My son is presently rebuilding a whole bedroom/bath addition on his house because of a water leak/mold that probably began when the addition was first built (before he bought the house).

Dear reader’s page
I live in Texas, and I want to talk about chainsaws.
Isn’t there a month for people like me?

@Deborah I’ve been making kimchee for years, it’s really easy.
Sauerkraut is even easier! I have a 1/2 gal fermenting right now that I added some shredded Granny Smith apples and caraway to and I’m looking forward to trying with the Thanksgiving turkey and sagey sausage bread stuffing.
There’s tons of recipes and how-tos online, go for it.

Ha, BJM! I’m a bit of a probiotic cultist. I switched from yogurt to kefir last year because it’s easier and I’m lazier, and I do pickled veg. Though I’ve been off my usual for a few days because I haven’t felt like topping up my kefir.
