Won’t stop raining

If you’re not sure what this is, look for the beak in the lower left corner. It’s a damp Spoon.

I’m not believing this weather. Another miserable, cold, wet, clammy, demoralizing day. I think we might put the heat on tonight, like we did multiple times in June and July.

Summers here aren’t always like this. In fact, most English Summers are beautiful, at least down here in the sunny South.

This blows, though.

While over here in Vegas we celebrate and marvel when wet stuff falls out of the sky. I’m just all rong for desert living.

My only knowledge of British summer weather comes from two sources:

Watching “Midsomer Murders” where, while if apparently has the highest murder rate of any place its size in the civilized world, it almost never rains.

Watching the Great British Bake-Off, where it is almost always rainimg.

Aren’t you some kind of wet stuff engineer, Mitch?

It’s beautiful out today. I’ll give it that.

Whether the weather is cold,
Or whether the weather is hot,
We’ll weather the weather,
Whatever the weather,
Whether we like it or not!

I’m a data analyst for the local water utility. We’re having Issues with the ol’ Colorado river the last 20 years or so. I want to leave, it’s no fun here anymore.

It’s cool here today too, 92 today and 90 tomorrow.

@Mitch…Lake Mead levels are pretty scary…SoCal is sucking the life from any and all water sources.

Not content to torment us over the ChiropteraFlu: Masks off!, Masks On! The idjits in Sacto recently passed a law that pig farmers must comply with new regs re the size of their pens to conform with the wokester crowd. California farmers only supply 45% of our pork market. The bacon supply going to get very contentious. Ironically, the people most impacted will Hispanics. The eco/compassionate crowd always seems to hit the poor the hardest.

I had to laugh…Farm Foods has 20% off pork orders today.

Beware: more than one link in a comment is apt to earn you a trip to the spam filter, where you will remain -- cold, frightened and alone -- until I remember to clean the trap. But, hey, without Akismet, we'd be up to our asses in...well, ass porn, mostly.
