Lambeeeeeees! OMG, I love lambs. I want one. No I don’t – they smell. But so cute!!

Yes, Jessica, they smell. They do smell. They smell so wonderful as they are gently being caressed by indirect heat from below, gently rotating to keep them constantly basting in their own juices.

What? I can’t think they are horribly freaking cute AND damn good tasting at the same time?

Pleh. I hate lamb. It tastes rancid to me, like beef that has gone off. Just as well; after spending time around the little buggers, I’d feel like I was eating kittens.

I have a friend who keeps ruling out foods one animal at a time, based on documentaries about the meat industry. If somebody convinces her carrots are sentient, she’s going to starve to death.

My only beef with lamb (specifically lamb chops) is that they’ve got so little meat on them. But, I suppose that’s only to be expected with lambs being…small. Otherwise, from what I can remember (I’ve been a nonmeateatist for a few years now), they taste pretty good.
That lamb on the right is such a poser.
