Doo, doo, doo, lookin’ out my back door

awwwww

Okay, if you don’t let out a little squeak and fall over dead out of SHEER CUTE, you have no soul (it’s the out of focus dude in the background digging on the sunshine that lands the fatal blow).

Dammit. Thanks for proving I have no soul.

All it did was make me hungry.

Plus, this helps weasel sleep by counting them.

Lambeeeeeees! OMG, I love lambs. I want one. No I don’t – they smell. But so cute!!

Yes, Jessica, they smell. They do smell. They smell so wonderful as they are gently being caressed by indirect heat from below, gently rotating to keep them constantly basting in their own juices.

What? I can’t think they are horribly freaking cute AND damn good tasting at the same time?

Pleh. I hate lamb. It tastes rancid to me, like beef that has gone off. Just as well; after spending time around the little buggers, I’d feel like I was eating kittens.

I have a friend who keeps ruling out foods one animal at a time, based on documentaries about the meat industry. If somebody convinces her carrots are sentient, she’s going to starve to death.

My only beef with lamb (specifically lamb chops) is that they’ve got so little meat on them. But, I suppose that’s only to be expected with lambs being…small. Otherwise, from what I can remember (I’ve been a nonmeateatist for a few years now), they taste pretty good.
That lamb on the right is such a poser.

The lambs are very cute. From a distance. This is how I prefer lambs..er…sheep.

Now see, I feel the same about pigs. And other than their poop, they probably smell better than lambs…roasting or being cute.

Ok, I laughed out loud at that. From a “nonmeateatist”. Like a gun-control person talking about “taking a last shot” at something.

Well-played Gibby, well-played indeed. 🙂

*sigh
The weekend will be over in two shakes of a lamb’s tail.

Much better than pics of an exploding poop chute.

Mmmmmm… kittens cooked in pork fat. Kitten confit.

Ok, that was going too far. Trying to show solidarity with PnB and Homer and failed miserably. I’m even grossed out myself. Almost chickened out.

Love the pig though.

The reference to “exploding poop chute” does have a certain effect on the landscape in regards to my appetite. I’m grateful, I could stand to lose a few pounds.
