Obama is getting into very interesting approval numbers territory. He’s down to 37%- “less than 3 points above Richard Nixon’s second term low of 34.7%”.
Toss out the automatic 13% approval he has (something Nixon didn’t have, obviously) and he’s deep, deep in the mineshaft.
Having said that any attempt to impeach will have such, ah, ‘profound social consequences’ that I find it unlikely.
Stoaty – I hope you are feeling better after a good sleep, and the application of a warm kitten to your lap. Take care of yourself please. My wise grandfather always liked to remind me that ‘alcohol kills germs’….and then there’s the thought that if you *really* get sick, Uncle B will be doing all the cooking….just sayin’
