Oh. Okay.

tubman

Harriet Tubman was a brilliant choice for the 20 dollar bill. There’s absolutely nothing negative anyone can say about it BECAUSE SLAVERY. I’m a big, big fan of the patriarchy, so this is kind of a blow for me.

Oh, well. Let’s hope they can find a softer portrait to work from. All the pictures I’ve seen, she looks like YOU SPEND THIS TWENTY AND I’LL KICK YOUR ASS!

I will say something about that: we don’t have the quality of engravers we used to have. Back when so many more documents were engraved, we had a big gene pool of craftsmen to choose from. Now, not. If you look at the modern big-head version of our currency compared to the old portraits, the quality is just not there.

And don’t get me started on coins…

I’m slowly wading through Winston Churchill’s letters from South Africa during the Boer war. Early on he remarks on the racist attitude of the Boer toward the native African.

So here we are, 120 years later, after Western Europe renounces imperial colonialism, declares all peoples equal, all culture equal. After the 20th century wars of national liberations, after wars against the colonial occupiers, one looks around at current events and asks the question; ‘This is an improvement?’

Gotta say it.

For now and for all time, this is going to be known as the “Obama” bill. And the friendly, dignified mien is to express his hatred for, not only whites, but all Americans.

I know. I’m going to hell for that. Actually, that is far down on the list of things my ticket was validated for.

Harriet carried a big-ass pistol with her. She was also a devout Christian and a Republican. Everyone shd get in the habit of drawing her pistol on her depiction on the $20 dollar bill.

Oh, and that pistol: looks like a cap-and-ball, single-shot beast in about .50 caliber.

Not much use defensively, I think she carried it for herself, in case she got caught.

Harriet Tubman was badass and as noted, a Republican, 2nd-Amendment believer, and Christian. Republicans should own this idea.

In any case, by the time the first Tubman’s are in circulation (in 2030) no one will be using cash any more anyway.

Round 84 of the Dead Pool seems to have been won by Scott Jacob for his pick of Prince on Apr 15 (See Drudge or TMZ for the announcement.)

New Dead pool tomorrow?

Someone should ask Hillary what she thinks of having a gun-toting Republican on the $20 bill.

This is just more racist bullshit from the most racist and divisive administration in recent history. Having said that,
