More things spotted in the supermarket
Not really remarkable, but worth noting that this sign is up high and behind a deep shelf of produce. So, I don’t know. Inside job?
It’s late. I’m off! Relieved to note that Notre Dame is salvageable (they saved the rose windows!), though it’s going to be a tough row to hoe. As it were.

A few thoughts on the Notre Dame Cathedral:
1. Its restoration will be the most filmed event in history. I guess no less than a dozen documentaries will be made.
2. A highly skilled Weasel with fine arts computer credentials could work on such a restoration project. The crew will need thousands of working drawings.

Huh!
29p x $1.30/1 pound = 40 cents for 2.5 kg = 8 cents/lb.
That’s incredibly cheap.

Aldi has been a revolution here, Rich. Food is generally very, very expensive in the UK (really…it blew my mind when I first moved here). Even Walmart (operating as Asda here) couldn’t bring it down.
But Aldi? Wow! Not just cheap, either — their own brand stuff is really very good.
Their produce isn’t always good quality, though.
