Welp, drinking early tonight

The guys initially clashing with police looked like Antifa to me. Young men, dressed mostly in black.

Perhaps moot now.

Nope, they won’t until someone important gets hurt. You didn’t hear squat from them until it was their hides that might get damaged. Now it’s all “we gotta be peaceful and stuff….”

Not to worry – it’s a mostly peaceful protest!

And besides, I’m sure the Capitol building has insurance, so if there’s any damage the insurance will cover it, right?

Oh, lookie! The chickens, they’re coming home to roast! uh, I mean roost.

But the good news is, the Repulicrats can stop pretending they’re wisely governing and go back to being the paid opposition, and resume pretending to be critical. Back to doing what they do best, talking about pretending they’re going to fight the evil Democrats!
Be sure and send them more money for their next campaign because they now have to settle for a slightly smaller share of the loot they were getting.

But fortunately they can blame Trump, the guy they mostly refused to fight for after Nov 3rd.

From what I saw a picture of, a woman was shot in the neck, seriously wounded or dead, reportedly by a Capitol Police officer.

Virginia National Guard, 300 Virginia State Troopers, and an “FBI Strike Team” en-route to the Capitol. [Think Waco and Ruby Ridge] Earlier Capitol Police used pepper gas [Oleoresin Capsicum] on the protestors outside the Capitol and were surprised to be answered in kind. OC is legal for civilians and a lot of people who carried it on duty when they were working still have some, including YHS.

Some of the OC got into the Rotunda [yes, you can smell it a long way, I’ve breathed it in a tent for training and in use] and they gave an interesting order to the Congress-critters to get out the gas masks from under their seats[!!??!!]. Did not know that they had such. Peons were ordered to hide under their desks.

The key point is this. For the last year we have watched Leftist terrorists rob, burglarize, and burn cities. They have been untouched and protected by the police and government officials in those cities and states. During that time, police were physically attacked and NOT ALLOWED to defend themselves, let alone use live rounds from their weapons. The President called for a large and peaceful demonstration in DC. Which is legal. People came from all over the country. Lots of them. They were/are mickle p–ed off in the wake of the obvious theft of the presidential election and the refusal of the court system to respond to the point where the Supreme Court refused to enforce the explicit text of the Constitution. The election was stolen with massive numbers of fraudulent ballots, and today in Georgia where they had run-off elections for two US Senators [it was an unusual case having the both on the ballot, but they had to fill a vacancy out of order]. Just like in the states where the presidential election fraud took place, instead of finishing counting straight through they stopped at about 2130 hours . . . officially. Both Republicans were ahead by about 3% and 84% of the votes had been counted. This morning when they restarted, with supposedly nothing having been counted overnight, the Democrats were ahead.

Right now we have legalized election fraud, the courts will not hear appeals, and that has killed consent of the governed, the rule of law, and the Constitution. People, as I said, are p–ed. Today they were counting the electoral votes formally in Congress. Vice President Pence had authority to entertain objections and call for a debate on the state electoral votes that were in question. Despite going back and forth as to whether he would, he did not.

Leftist groups constantly invade Congress’ chambers to protest and they are not harmed or usually even arrested.

This time, they apparently shot and killed a woman, with no sign of her posing a threat from the report of the guy standing next to her.

Interesting times are here. Sweas, you might want to brush up on Lexington, Concord, and especially Merriam’s Corner to explain to your neighbors what may be going on soon.

There are credible eyewitness and other reports, with supporting photographic evidence, that numerous antifa thugs and agents provocateur were instrumental to invading the Capitol. More than one witness says that the woman who was shot and killed (yes, she’s dead) was also antifa. She was attempting to climb through a side window in a doorway into a large room and was shot by a man in a business suit according, again, to multiple witnesses.

As for photo evidence, the man in the fur/horn headgear in the Capitol is in multiple photos taken last summer in Arizona at a “F*ck Da Cops” antifa demonstration, and two other Capitol “demonstrators” are unmistakable in photos published by a Philadelphia antifa group.

One interesting account is that the way the “demonstrators” got into the building was by means of a scaffolding from which they reached an upper floor, and that some of the barricades blocking access were removed by (pick one or more), DC police, Capitol police, FBI, or personnel from the congressional sergeant-at-arms force.

It is my current conclusion that the violence was planned by deep state actors using antifa troops taking advantage of the righteous anger of the pro-Trump / pro-Constitution crowd to perpetrate a very ugly and provocative false flag operation.

The only thing good I can say about today’s events is that it is about damned time that those arrogant, corrupt, condescending politicians and bureaucrats are frightened. They’re shifting quickly from contempt to fear.

@Subotai Bahadur — Thanks for your post, which put into excellent words much of my own thinking.

This is not “Nazis”. It is instead Communist swill, led by the filthy tribe sewage who yearn for the “good old days” of their Messiahs – Lenin and Stalin.

In short clips of rioters trying to breach the capitol there was one young guy holding his skateboard overhead. It looked ready to use as a ‘tool’ for entry. I don’t think it was a MAGA board.

Another crowding toward an entrance was wielding a black umbrella, partially unfurled. Antifa regularly uses umbrellas to shield against being filmed.

I fear there will never be fair and honest elections again in the US. The Dominion equipment will be permanent where they are now, and continue to spread to yet more states.

Correction to my prior post: The woman shot and killed has been identified as Ashli Babbit, a 14-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, holder of security clearances, and a supporter of President Trump.

My thought that she may have been antifa was completely wrong. Humble apologies.

Well, we had a good run as a republic. For what it’s worth, I blame the Republican Party for ALL of this. Decades of spineless “leadership” allowed the dems to advance their fascism until it became the norm and now the controlling ideology. It was republicans who for decades ignored the voices of their voters, republicans who relished their role as the loyal opposition so as not to disrupt their cocktail party invites, republicans who worked against their own party president, republicans who sat by quietly and in many cases openly voiced agreement with the democrats labeling of republican voters as racist, moronic knuckle draggers. Say what you will about the democrats but they have been able to maintain a united front for decades to accomplish their goals. At this point we are a nation bitterly divided with completely opposing ideologies. I see no way to unite these diametrically opposed ideologies. Whatever comes next, let’s remember that the Republican Party was complicit in this and should be condemned to hell along with the democrats.

The Boogaloo’s a proposition we may not win and provides an excuse to grab guns and round up large swathes of the country…which they are itching to do. Why do we have to play by the rules? We won our freedom with guerilla tactics and thinking outside the box.

We have an obvious game-changing tool; we grow and transport the nation’s food. Cut ’em off, siege the blue states & cities.

Then take down the grid. They want Venezuela, give it to them. Good & hard.

They are wanting/expecting us to act now, but come spring/summer they will have relaxed all fat & happy on power and Chinese money.

Boom!

And now, the outrage! The ‘insurrectionists’ attacked statues of American HEROES in the capitol building!

I wonder where someone got the idea to attack statues though. That’s really odd isn’t it.

And I’ll bet nothing burns and people don’t do wealth re-distribution shopping in the name of Ashli Babbit.

All the other oldsters, this remind you of, oh, say, 1969, 1970?
